The most notable feature of this genre ("film noir"' "crime movie") outing is the high production value of the cinematography. It is bell-clear, bright, colorful, and sharp. A real pleasure in that regard.

Yes. Has those vivid colors like a Hammer studios flick. I never liked those horror movies but the cinematography in this one reminds me of those.

BUT, "NOIR" FILMS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FILMED IN BLACK-AND-WHITE. AND, ALSO, THEY SHOULD APPEAR DARK AND MURKY.

I was flipping channels when I came across one of the downtown scene was struck with a felling of deja vu...I'm like what's so familiar? Filmed in and around Bisbee, Arizona in 1955 if you go there now I realize nothing much about downtown has changed. I loved visiting that city with my family. Great movie 🎬!

Eisenhower had wanted higher company taxes that he knew would be stimulate investment and growth through those companies avoiding those taxes by putting more into expansion. Much later came the Reagan tax cuts, the "Laffer Curve" and "trickledown" (and a collapsed economy).

Script flaw: the local truck driver, perhaps a local farmer has to live there after the crime so he would not want to be identified nor does he want to have the entire Amish family murdered so as not to be witnesses later. The driver should have been prevented from appearing in front of the witnesses until they were blindfolded. Poor direction.

Great film really enjoyed it..... But come on to say those bank robbers planned the heist meticulously then they go & make a poor poor job of securing Victor mature and the wacky religious fam in the barn believe me if I'd of been in charge those lot would not have broke free in a million years..... And the truck driver with the shotgun was so naive and gullible fancy going up the ladder when mature hollered out just asking for trouble... Wow how stupid can you get?... Just stay in the hay truck and totally ignore the guys in the barn 😊

So so, but only because it looks good. I was not invested in any of the characters at all, which just made it feel a bit empty. The Amish were the most interesting aspect of the movie and they could have made them a more prominent aspect of the plot. I wouldn't recommend this one, though I can see why soem would enjoy it.

Cardboard characters, laughable dialogue, peurile plot. Waste of Cinemascope and Technicolor.
