Does anyone know if I can use the Viofo 129 Plus Duo with a OBD2 adapter in order to use parking mode. This is for my wife's old run around, I believe it is a 2009 Hyundai i30. Do I still need the Viofo Hardwire Kit (HK3)? Thanks

Hi @CJ-vc5xn! While the OBD2 adapter can allow you to monitor your car while parked, however it will not enable true parking mode. The OBD2 adapter has two different power modes, I cover them in more detail and how they work here kzread.info/dash/bejne/i3mfzs9yhpneiag.html Hope this helps Cheers!

Since fitting this duo dash cam my dab radio has stopped working..The only way it will work is by disconnecting the rear camera. Ferrite cores did not work so any advice would be appreciated..Many thx

Hi Ary! That is very strange, typically dash cams do not interact with DAB radio or affect it. I would recommend having your installer confirm both the installation of the dash cam and the DAB radio (if aftermarket) or any code set for if it's a factory DAB radio. Specially if the dash cam was hardwired (potentially into a incorrect power bus leading to the interference). You can also contact Viofo for tech support if you want to bypass your installer, they can probably walk you thru some troubleshooting steps. And please let us know what they find. Cheers!
