How did you get rid of the high frequency noise? Low pass filter? Btw great vid

Its from Last Ninja 2 on the C64 remade on the 2A03 and the N163 chip.

It's weird that the nes and n163 triangle waves are 16 step, but they look different.

because NES triangle is a 5-bit DAC

Why the triangle don't play more?.

if you look at the track below it, it looks suspiciously like a triangle wave. if I had to guess it's probably modulating the track below it to create the kick and snare you hear. I'm not an expert on this kind of thing so that's just my hypothesis
