    Why only till you Get monetized?     agreed. too much editing cuts. always makes me suspect there was some magic edit tricks to it all....if this was a continous 'speed' up repair work. sure. but..nope. cut to cut to cut and 'wow' fixed. suspicious!!

    @@OscarOliu no no, when you see the original torn section it's about a half inch wide tear, when he puts the paste on with a spatula it's all flat and then he sands it, it's not possible to get the scale/leather pattern finish you see at the end when he's sanded it flat.

    ​@@MUNIANDY33many glues/ binders appear white when wet but are clear when dry. You get the same with wood glue or acrylic paint. That's why acrylic paint looks brighter when wet than dry, the binder turns clear

    Literally know how to do this myself u can literally see the outline of the crack at the end. And that little white spec at the bottom right on the armrest is still there at the end. People just mad cause they to damn stupid to be able to fix stuff. Keep doing what your doing brother. Awesome work

    Yep. You could charge a $100 for that repair and find a replacement at the wreckers for $30 and take 5 min to swap it out. You can see the camera angle has changed RIGHT at the time of the switch.

    I'm a big believer that paint and spackle can fix anything and that's essentially what this is. I've painted roofs, countertops, you name it. I was trying to figure out how I was going to repair the vinyl add a card that I just got, since it's a Mercedes I have to be a bit cautious. Just need to know what the materials are and I can get to it.

    Got a used car once from a reputable dealership. Paid a premium because it was clean and mint. It took less than 6 months for every flawless and undetectable vinyl plug and repair to show and fail. Felt like Wormwood Motors after that.

    That’s a good repair but he should’ve used a lighter color because now it doesn’t match the rest of the upholstery in his car. If you compare the before and after the color is off so his center consul is going to be a little bit darker than his seats. He should’ve done a lighter color. Don’t ever let anyone fool you by telling you that’s a good repair and don’t let anyone charge you for that kind of repair because it’s supposed to match that’s a good repair

    Im pretty sure there isn't a very good way to repair vinyl. Your best bet is to replace it, by getting it reupholstered, a new seat from the junk yard as you said, or a seat cover from Walmart. Anything but whatever this is supposed to be.

    I use to work at a body shop supply and automotive paint supply shop. Vinyl repair was one of my favorite things to do when testing new products. Something about it is so relaxing.

    That’s a good repair but he should’ve used a lighter color because now it doesn’t match the rest of the upholstery in his car. If you compare the before and after the color is off so his center consul is going to be a little bit darker than his seats. He should’ve done a lighter color. Don’t ever let anyone fool you by telling you that’s a good repair and don’t let anyone charge you for that kind of repair because it’s supposed to match that’s a good repair

    I once bought a truck because the seats were not ripped. I told the guy every truck I look at with this many miles has ripped seats. He was like yeah its a great truck. I later found a repair receipt for the seats in the glove box and the repair lasted about 6 months before it fell apart and looked like every other truck.
