Scorpions are awesome dude! Glad to see a young-cat giving it a try. Black Out is post Uli Jon Roth, but still some great tracks on there. I would HIGHLY suggest Virgin Killer, In Trance and Taken By Force. Roth's guitar playing on Yellow Raven, We'll Burn The Sky & Polar Nights is second to none. He's a highly influential player to the likes of Billy Corgan, Kirk Hammett and Yngwie Malmsteen. Recently got the Virgin Killer Blu-Spec disc from Japan. Sounds unbelievable.

Man, RATM was H-U-G-E when that record came out. While I liked a few track at at first, they quickly got on my nerves and to this day I never went back. Bad Religion and Rancid are two I really do need to circle back on and get more familiar with. Blackout's classic and if your collection started there, it started right! Stare at the Santana cover long enough to find the naked lady. She's there, promise. Great post, way to get started! - Lj

Thanks. Yeah, BR is a great band for getting into punk, as I have mentioned. 'Stranger Than Fiction" is a great album to start at. The one I showed is more of a fan favorite, so not a recommended starting place to start at. Didn't know about the naked lady. Guess I got some work to do...
