@@heritage.home.crochet I tend to like the eras that involve an awful lot of fabric, so I play at trying to maintain some of the style but reducing the fabric. I like a lot of eras between the 1700's and the early 1900's. After that, I find it less interesting. I've been a jeans and t-shirt person my whole life, but I was researching my ancestors and wondered what they wore, hahahahah! I am more interested in what the common person wore, not royalty. No royals in my families.

Sometimes I find them for cheap at thrift shops or eBay and some pieces are investments 😊
