I paid $2 for this at Goodwill in Hampton, Virginia. That is quite cheap for a cute, mid-century appliance.
It was filthy and totally jammed, but I cleaned it and it is actually sort of pretty without all the dirt and grime. It had tons of hair wrapped around the shaft behind the blades, stopping it from spinning.
This fan has a General Electric motor.
These Lakewood box fans are miles better with metal grills. I cannot express how much I dislike the brittle plastic grills they later put on these and their other box fans.
