It is weird honestly 😆 but it always makes me really happy ❣❣❣ Just last weekend it happened again but this time I don't know who it was. I was kneeing in front of a box with dolls and behind me I thought I heard someone say "oh Lau Skypainter". But when I looked around me I could not see who it was, who of the people said that 😆 so I guess this person did not want to interact with me~ haha~ which is also fine 😉👍

Heyho, greetings from Germany all the way over to the US 😁👋 Yes, I also think there is an abundance of action figure/ boy toy collectors on KZread but not a lot of girls doing the same here. Sure, there are lots of doll KZreadrs collecting modern doll lines but there is not enough of vintage girl toy content creators on KZread. That's why I started doing videos 😆 I'm making the videos I myself would like to watch 😋 I'm happy you found your way over here 🤩💗💗💗🎉 Thanks for the sweer comment and enjoy watching my back catalogue of videos while working in home office 😉✌

Oh wow that Polly Pocket Set!! The price was still good! Would have paid that too! Fashion Jeans Barbie and especially that Ken are high on my list too. They look so simple good! ❤ You still keep finding Barbies which we had back in the day. My sister had the Fashion Style one in the Purple dress. I remember her super curly hair 😀🙂

It's so cool that you remember all those Barbies from your childhood and your sister 🤩 I have a double of Fashion Jeans Ken. But he has very pale discolored arms 😬 and I don't have double fashions for him. Otherwise you could totally have him.

I realized these days now while collecting them back how many they were. We played a lot together with them. I was not allowed to have my own, so it was good to have a sister who collected them. 😁😀

I enjoy your videos. My very first Barbie was the My First Barbie with the gingham skirt. I still have her to this day.

Hi Lau! I love your Fashion Play Barbie, she's lovely. I have her too, I'm actually a great fan of European FP Barbie. It turns out that their curls redefine and look much better if you boil wash them. Just put them in boiling water for like 3 Seconds and brush with a fine tooth comb like right away. Do it a couple of times. It really makes them bouncy and shiny again.

Yes, she is pretty 🤩 I know what boil washing is. I do it permanently on my dolls😉 Taking care of dolls and ponies hair is a big priority for me in my collection. Her hair was in such nice condition that I skipped it. Maybe I should have made that more clear in the video. But I talk so much about boil washing etc. in my videos uaually, I thought it is clear that I know what this is. Mostly even with saran hair 80s dolls it looses a little bit of the curls. Just did it to my Island Fun Skipper and I'm not super happy how much of her curls she lost. I would rather boil wash her and boil perm her afterwards 😂 But as I really like her as as she is, I'm not gonna bother 😝 Trust me, I have done hundrets of boil washes already and by now know when I want to do it and when not. But I also trust you that you had some really good experience with the curls returing very well😊✌ But it is really sweet of you that you want to teach me.😘💋

Oh the little piggy I used to have her but in Canada her car was in the color pink not red, that's cool to see the car in a different color.

Thank you ❤❤❤ Hey, Italy is closer than the US 😉 And who says that I'm not going on vacation there😉 Italy is definitely on my list to visit one day. I've never been. My parents mostly went on vacation in Spain with me, never to Italy. This year I will visit my friend Selina (Vintagegaudi) in Swizerland. That is already a good portion closer to Italy. ~ haha And I bet somewhere in Italy there are good flea markets. Maybe that requires a little bit of travel for both of us 😂

This video is so amazing. You have inspired me to get some more of my childhood Barbie. Also, I have never owned a My Little Pony, but I play to get a few of them. The coolest came out in the 80s and 90s as well as the early 2000s. I am a 1970s kid. We had some cool Barbies and other things. However, I got way more Barbies in the 80s. Thank you so much for your fun inspiring videos. It’s helping me to heal the brokenness from childhood.🥹💖🙏🏾

(Strawberry Shortcake, Star Wars etc.) but I have to agree that during the 80s the toy companies outdid themselves with iconic lines and overall beutiful aestetics.🤩 I'm happy that I could peek your interest in getting more into your childhood Barbies or even My Little Pony 💗💗💗 Just do what makes you happy!

The Esmeralda doll is one of my childhood dolls, I still have her and all her accessories in really good condition (even all her jewellery is complete). 😊 That little doll you bought with tinsel in her hair is new to me but she has the same face like the Cherry Merry Muffin dolls that I am familiar with. Is there any conection between this dolls and the Cherry Merry Muffin dolls?

Yep, no idea what Mattel thought 🙉 maybe it was a mistake and they switched the Esmeralda bodies in production 🤣 just kidding 😋 but it is weird. Yeah, I really need that space for my Barbie Extra collection right now 🙈 (the new Barbie line I collect) so I will put the Disney dolls in storage pretty soon. I will only keep the Tyco Ariel dolls out.

Oh yes, country variants are a fascinating topic.🤩 I'm absolutely obsessed with country variants with my vintage My Little Ponies and am very knowledgeable in that field. With Barbies the differenves sometimes are just tiny and often dolls with the same production country even look different. It's super interesting❣ But with Barbies I'm not as knowledgeable yet as with Ponies and unless I own 2 different variants of the same doll, it does not make super sense to me to discuss the country differences since I can't show the comparison. And for space reasons I try to not pick up a lot of douplicate Barbies 😅 Hope that makes sense. But yes, I could point out where a doll was produced in the future. But I feel this info allone is not super informative and I already talk a lot and my videos are super long as is already 🤣 not sure how much more info I can squeeze in them ~ haha Thanks for the comment though👍

My jeans Barbie is also super pale but so is her face. Maybe yours is a different country make and that's why her face is darker?

I just checked and mine is also from the Philippines. Yeah, I'm guessing her head just darkened because that's the correct body color. But if it bugs you, you could always put her on a darker body and use that lighter body for if you find a pale Barbie head. 😊

I replyed now.❣❣❣ I'm so super sorry 😣 Gmail did again not give me a notification on my phone that there is a new email. So I just missed your emails. I use this email really just for KZread so otherwise I just check it once a week or so since most communication happens on Instagram and usually (apart from some weird requests) not a lot comes in on that email. And also I did not see this comment earlier since I was editing next Friday's video.🙈 I'm so sorry. It was not intentional!!!

Hi Lau, do you do anything to protect your collection from mold. I have limited space and store things in boxes, that can be a big mistake, sometimes the lack of air causes mold😱😱😱

I have all my toys on display. Nothing in boxes apart from a couple of doubles. Germany is not a humid country at all. It's pretty dry and cold. I can't give you any advice😅 I'm sorry 😓
