Vintage tinplate live steam toy trains: 8th Bing Players Meeting, October 2020
Ғылым және технология
In spite of Corona, we were able to have the 8th Bing Players Meeting of the Bing Museum in Freinsheim take place - under strict hygiene rules and with a very limited number of visitors. But after all these events cancelled due to Corona, it was an absolute joy to be able to meet each other again and have our old trains run.
After all, we are social beings.
A special "Thank you" goes to Uwe Groll and his wive Marion for having made that possible.
This clip has the main focus on our O gauge clockwork and live steam layout, but also features scenes from the O gauge electric and the gauge 1 electric and live steam layout, as well as a live steam boat in action.
I dedicate this video to all of you who had no chance to attend, and I hope you enjoy it and can share at least some of the fun we had.

The boat looping around in a bowl puts a smile on my face! so does the clockwork train looping around, on a tiny oval and the steam operated carpenters!
Schon genial, dass diese vielen alten Dinge die Jahre überdauert und jetzt in besonderen Ehren gehalten werden!
Thank you for posting this wonderful live steam trains at the Bing player's meeting.
Vielen Dank, dass du uns in den schönen bewegten Bildern die Teilnahme an dem Treffen ermöglicht.
The authentic asbestos tablecloth is a nice touch.
Ich staune über die 5400-er, dass die 4 Waggons zieht, meine schafft höchstens 3 :-(. Trotzdem Danke für die genialen Bilder.
