Beautiful watch!! I recently found an excellent condition night diver with the full lume dial and silver bezel at a mom and Pop jewelry store for $400, I stepped away because I didn’t know what it was until I got home and googled the model. I realized it was a real gem and harder to find with the silver bezel, I went back the next day and purchased it!! It’s my favorite watch to wear

😂 I was in London back in 2000 and I had a tag 2000 quartz -still wearing it as I write this!!!

Nice vintage sport Tag. Would be nice if it is an automatic. I used to own the same design cue from Tudor (also two-tone in jubilee) but run on an eta auto. Unfortunately it is a tat too small at 34-35mm case.

Carbon Paper !!. Blimey those were the days eh. Nice little piece of vintage two tone there. Tag sortof achieved ' shoping mall ' status with most watch enthusiasts, certain models excepted. Hopefully for Tag this years Carrera Glass Box release is the sign of things to come and takes them out of the 'mall. ' It's a stunner, especially the Blue version.

Carbon Paper!! Yes!! Thank you for that. I remember watching the checkout lady in the supermarket using carbon paper to get a copy of my Dad's bank card when we used to do the grocery shopping! Looking forward to more good things from TAG in the next couple of years.

This model looks like it has Quantum Leap'd fron 1989. The 1000 goes back to the pre-tag turn of the 1980s. It was a quartz alternative to the Submariner at a quarter of the price of the Rolex. The Tag Heuer 1000 was a massive icon in its day and for the price it is a steal.

Good video, an a beautiful piece, the only problem is that a lot of people are going to ask if it’s a Rolex

I actually think the design has aged better than a lot of other watches of this era

I believe i have the nicest Tag Heuer 1000 (THE SAME AS THIS ONE IN THE VIDEO) on the planet. I have two, but one of them is in NOS condition. I wear it to nights out and every asks is it a Rolex. When I say no, they say its stunning, how much is it worth? I have no idea? I love the watch. It was worn i the bond film Living daylights as well.

I’ve bought 3 iterations of the professional 1000. The most important one I bought is the stainless full lume dial black bezel with the fully matte stainless bracelet. It’s about a 9.5 condition. Another one I bought is similar to yours except the dial is white in mint condition.
