For some reason a viewer's comment isnt showing up but he asked about the textured cape Leia Bespin. The textured cape came with the Hong Kong COO with the crew neck figure (as far as I am aware anyway). An 85-ish graded version could cost as much as $300. An 80 grade just sold for $120 so you may be able to get one cheaper than $300. They are just very tough to find in 85 condition and higher.

I swear I have a bespin cape somewhere in this house and I can’t find it and it’s driving me crazy 😜😖😤😫🥺😩😖 However it’s a short ride

Great video! I actually have a textured caped Leia. When I first noticed it I thought it was a repro and almost threw it out. You mentioned it belongs to the HK version but is there any other specifics I can go by to verify it’s with the correct figure?

Oh sorry I see your follow up question. It just needs to be a HK Leia with a crew neck and not the turtle neck. That is only what I have seen graded.

Action Figure Grader Thanks a lot for the info. Looks like I have the right one. Mine is in pretty good shape but I haven’t had any of mine graded. I’m guessing it’s an 80-85 easy. Good luck on the hunt. The variants certainly make this hobby that much more exciting.

Thanks for watching! Sorry I should have made that clear. COO means "Country of Origin". The country of origin is where the figure was manufactured. These figures were made all over the place from Mexico to Hong Kong to Taiwan to Macau to Japan. A "no COO" figure usually means it was a figure manufactured in Europe by a company called Palitoy.

I like to try and collect every variant of each character including all color or molding variations as well as ones manufactured across all countries of origin. If you scroll through the old videos on my channel, I have many videos with the starting title "Vintage Star Wars Variants" where I show some of the differences between the different figures across different countries of origin.

@@great1347 you too! Boushh is a rarely faked figure so you are good. You can always do the "float test" for her long rifle by putting it in a sink of water. If it floats, then it is an original. There are some exceptions to that rule but it is a good first way to make sure the weapon isn't a repro.

Are the no COO versions harder to find, and why would they have no COO on them in the first place??
