I made 3 full size quilts out of a few bags of scraps for 50cents to 1.00 at my quilting group that the rest of them didn't want to use. After they saw my French Roses quilts they were really shocked and loved them. We had been on a shop-hop and my sister bought the pattern. She never made one so I made 3 just alike. I used all different kinds of material and colors. They turned out beautiful and that was years ago but we still love them. Only 3 alike in the world. My daughter, my sis, and me.

This is the second rose quilt idea I've seen today. Why they all show up in my suggested videos on the same day, I dunno LOL. I really like this one - I'm about 1/3 through my very first actual quilt (more of a bedspread with how lightweight it's turning out to be), and now I'm finding all sorts of quilting videos on here. I absolutely LOVE your vintage fabric you used for the background in this project.

Glad you're having fun with your first quilt, Linda! The French Rose pattern has been around for years. It's probably becoming popular now as it fits the shabby chic look, plus it's super easy to make! Yes, that vintage fabric is fabulous. Check out this Vintage Fabric Baby Quilt at the link below. The colors are so soft with scattered, delicate flowers. Plus there's a free pattern. Happy Quilting, Lea Louise kzread.info/dash/bejne/q2GWlJijhLTRYLA.html
