My father said that there was almost a civil war in Sydney in the early days don’t know how true that was he was born in 1914. Do you know of any photos of Lavender Bay in the 50s I spend a lot of time there as a child staying with my aunty Noreen

The older you get the more you miss and appreciate the simplicity of earlier days.

Thankyou I enjoyed this. Grew up in Sydney in the 50s and 60s and photos brought back memories. My parents walked access Sydney harbour bridge when it first opened and my mother swam in Bondi beach as a teen
