Hey everyone! Sorry this took so long to get out 😂 you’ll see why at the end. Check the links in the description for some of the things on the bike! ❤️ There was quite a bit of wind noise on the ride, it’s been humid and windy here. If all the talking and wind noise is annoying then please just mute the audio 😆 Hope you enjoy!! Thank you so much, check the links in the description ❤️🙌

If you're looking for a slightly cushier wrap job, I've had success wrapping a layer of older bike tubes underneath the newbaums tape. Comfy and eco friendly! And you still get to feel the road a little bit. You could slice the tube open lengthwise or just use it as is for even more support and a larger diameter. My only disclaimer there is that once the tape wears through, if you're too lazy to rewrap (like me), then you start to get black tube compound on your hands. Alternatively, the Riv style would be to throw a layer of felted wool beneath the newbaums tape.

Great vid 👍👍👍👍 I’m in the middle of doing a Bridgestone Mb4 and I agree they really ride amazingly and absolutely worth the time and effort because it’s not often you can get a bike which you can feel that the frame is really doing something special at the same time as all the other parts, very happy to see it’s not just me that feels this way 👍👍👍👍👍

Thank you!! They’re really special bikes, Bridgestones of this era, I have a small mb4 I need to build up too! It’s a lugged frame but I can’t quite place the year going by the decals. It’s very crusty and really would be best with a full resto some day. I completely agree, these frames create a bike that connects to the rider 🤌❤️

You could try using a Schrader to presta convertor. It's a small metal cylinder that sits in the valve hole. It makes the diameter of the valve hole smaller so that a presta valve fits into a rim meant for Schrader.

Awesome video, I love your channel. Started watching your vids a few weeks ago, I learn so much. Only started tinkering with bikes a few years ago and did my first build just under a year ago (2011 surly cross check). Since then I've been working on a couple more bikes (1997 brodie quantum and a 1985 schwinn super le tour). I don't have access to many parts and its really slow going finding parts online and at reasonable prices. Anyways keep up the good work, I'm sure to incorporate what I've learned from you in all my future bike builds and restoration attempts. Cheers.

I put drop handlebars and these Shimano 600 touring shifters on my MTB, which slotted at the end of the handlebars, this was pre- Brake/ shifter combos, this was in the early 90's when I was pretty unique on any ride/ race with my dropped roadie handlebars which would now be commonplace, I had similar and other issues with my back wheel, I got so frustrated I bought a brand new one which I knew would have no problem

This type of "moustache" bars made me think about restoring my very old Mongoose Switchback ATB. It has a bit to long frame/geometry for me(though I was commuting 2 years with it), and I couldn't find a way to compensate that with very short stem(it make maneuvering awkward) or some kind of riser or city bike bar(I don't like grip at their angles). This type of bar has a grip similar to drop bar(that I like the most) but goes backwards so it could compensate long frame... Will need to find some cheaper one than Nitto though, haha.

Thanks for nice video and perfect bike after your restoration. I always use very fat oil (synthetic if you have) on the pivots brakes - they works much better than on the grease. I dont know that do you use oil on the thread on the bolts - IMO it helps and avoid damage the thread. Furthermore always where steel connect to the aluminium I seperate this two kind of metal by nice grease (steel bolt - alu stem, seatpost- frame, crank - axle of support). All the Best, Michał.

Could you measure the Q factor of those M730 cranks? I've wondered about getting a pair to turn into a 1x crankset, with a shorter BB spindle, and mounting the ring on the outside. I've done that with another triple crank but just don't know if it's "worth it" to buy a crank specifically for this if it'll still be pretty wide... Great video as always, and a fun build! The colored accents all have the right proportions, if you ask me. It works.

I tend to mount the chainring on the inside of the crank, when converting a triple crank setup. I can measure it sometime, but the answer should be on a forum if you Google it 🤞

After about 3 years the last Keurig stopped working kzread.infoUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf initially was able to unblock, however eventually we couldn't fix. That one was a replacement unit sent by the manufacturer after we had problems with our very first Keurig. This works fine (lol, at least for now) however I didn't realize the water reservoir was so much smaller than our prior unit. With 2 people having one or two cups of coffee each morning, it seems like I'm refilling it daily. Otherwise just happy to have the convenience of pod coffee vs. making a morning pot.

Yeah that’s a good tip for people, definitely need to experiment with stem length when first trying these bars, to find the sweet spot 😎 it’s hard to say what each user would like, so I just recommend “trial and error” as everyone’s preference is different 🤙
