Watching you guys open these repacks is such a treat. The amount of time, effort, and value put in these is second-to-none!
These are always my favourite videos. It can't be overstated how frigin cool these repacked cards are. Not to mention the effort Shock puts into these. Crazy cool.

They only had Sorcery in P3K. It was to keep it simple for new players. Hence, why the text is worded that way on certain cards like Champion's Victory.

I'm a huge fan of y'all, and these Shock repacks are just next level. Big ups for putting some much time and care into them. You can tell it takes a lot of time and passion. So cool!
Thanks for doing these breaks! I just really love seeing these old cards and treatments! Special thanks goes to Shock, because his place was seriously upended, but he still managed to do this!

P3K had no instants because it was a simplified set, so the weird wording on cards like heavy fog was to give some cards a very specific instant timing.

After the first three cards of pack #14 I thought the theme was going to be "problematic artists" 😅But I haven't heard anything bad about the rest of the artists in that pack (I could be way out of the loop tho!)

Lol that would be an interesting theme! Ive been slow brewing an artist themed build where each pack showcases an artist, its just hard to hit vintage, value and playability, still needs to feel special for the big screen:) one day;)

It wasn't Russian, but yes the one in the vid is real. They released two printings called Foreign Black Border and Foreign White Border after revised came out - look them up for more info
Portal sets don't have any instants
Why is everyone glossing over the $420 cost to get singles worth half that amount?
So 1 pack made profit if they were 425 each. Seems bad to me.

Are you getting mixed up by the USD vs CDN thing? We charged $420 Canadian per pack (because we are Canadian based) but the single values shown on screen are in USD (because the majority of our viewers are US based). There’s a few single CARDS in the later packs that are worth more than admission, plus 9 other cards still from those packs.
The vintage nonfoil cards looks boring af..have never understood the hype around em.
