Ойын-сауық
In todays video we run some more of my Lionel postwar trains around the O scale layout! While I couldn't run all of my postwar locomotives in this video I had a blast as always giving the ones I could run a stretch around the tracks! If you liked the video please hit the thumbs up button and don't forget to subscribe if your new! Thanks for watching!!

A customer just gave me a Norfolk & western Lionel train set, still in the original box and still wrapped in the original plastic.! My first ever Lionel train set. And I am super stoked. I can't believe it is so brand new,. It looks like he just purchased it yesterday lol I couldn't be anymore grateful. Love your videos and collection!
Happy Labor Day 2023 - Cool run session - Gary from Michigan 🚂
Thanks for showing your train set up. My 101 year old father has always loved steam trains and model trains. Since I was able to show him KZread on the TV we have been watching a lot of steam engines. Today I found garden trains and your Adirondack video, then I showed him this one. He really liked your set up but he kept saying too fast. He did enjoy it though; when changed to look at a different one he wanted me to go back. Thanks for creating an enjoyable video.

Your comment made my day, I'm so glad y'all enjoyed the video!! If your father would like something a little slower, a more recent video I did called "JUST MODEL TRAINS" has some good action too, although I must admit a lot of these 60+ year old model trains aren't too good at running slow on my layout haha. Thank you so much for the comment I appreciate it!
lionel have some beautiful trains
I love this video. I saw this right after I ordered a 1950 Lionel Postwar PRR S2 turbine yesterday. Now I’m spending 100 bucks on some freight cars. Great content!
Hey Cory, very nice video! I just found your channel and subscribed. Post war trains are really cool 😎 thanks for sharing! 👍
The postwar trains are always a joy to see running even after all the time they have been in existence. They are some of the most durable and tough O gauge engines.
you did a nice job painting and weathering the steel bridge on the upper level.
Nice layout, Smooth runners.
Great layout, PW knowledge and enthusiasm!
Very nice layout. Baggage cars are readily available.Theyr'e all over eby. Your Santa Fe passenger train would look neat with a railway Express box car behind the locomotives. When I was a kid I expanded my train by adding a passenger car so I had baggage, 2 coaches, dome and observation pulled by 2333 Santa Fe's. I still have that stuff as well as 2333 NY Central plus the 726 berkshire which I often double headed with a 2333 F3 for more pulling power. Lots of fun.
I love Lionel Postwar trains
Pretty cool trains you have there 🙂🙂
Awesome collection of post war 😎
There’s always a sight to behold when seeing Postwar Lionel trains running. Great running session and video Corey!
Awesome collection and video my friend! I’m always on the hunt for postwar pieces 👍🏻😁🚂💨
Nostalgic Postwar Lionel always gets me playing toy train songs when watching those pieces of history rattle past. Lucky you, Corey, my man! Literally, no joke! I was playing and listening to the I Love Toy Trains intro theme while watching this the first time! I literally felt like I was revisiting my old I Love Toy Trains videos from a few years ago! Congrats on making me feel the feels, Corey!
I love what you're doing so keep it up. Your joy is palpable and young people are really important in toy train circles. Ones that appreciate and value postwar, as you do, are a rare breed, indeed. Keep it up, Corey!
WOW cool Lionel Postwar Trains man .
Great video, very nice layout, amazing postwar collection
Always enjoy seeing post war trains running around and I only have the one at the moment, its a little beat up, but it has inspired me to collect more post wars. Great video Corey and I’ll see you around the bend!
Fantastic selection of postwar classics! Love it!
Lionel postwar trains are amazing. I really wanna still get my Union Pacific 2023 alco fa set working like a champ.
Always enjoy your collection.

RBP hey thank you 😉👍!! Glad you liked the video Chris, thanks for the comment!!
Legacy and all that new stuff is cool, but this postwar engines and rolling stock are the ones that make most of us fall in love with trains. Great tribute to them. New subscriber.
Great running session Corey. Post war trains are the best.
Outstanding. Hey Cory get some heavyweight coaches to put into passenger service even if they are Williams or new Lionel. As an old guy I remember riding.the Illinois Central from Chicao to Carnondale IL. There were mixed consists heavy weights and streamliners on the same train. The heavyweights Hariman cars are real charming looking.
The Santa Fe F3 seems to glide across the tracks! Good shots!
Great video Corey! I agree that these are some of the best Lionel postwar items!
Trainmandan.... Great little video of some of your Post War stuff. Well done Corey. It's great to see young guys like you taking up this " The greatest hobby in the world".
Great job on this one, Corey! You captured some real nice shots!

@@RsTrainsonYT I think it still looks great!
1656 was always my fav engine from when I was a kid. Yours must run better then mine did cause I remember it struggling with more then two cars. But the light on the tender and the bell going off once it got warm was always fun.
Corey Joshua Lionel Cowen would be proud,. It looks like you collect top notch rolling stock. How did you start in the hobby ? I am in my seventies and remember getting these for Hanukkah. I always enjoyed steam the most. I still have quite a bit from my early days.
I really like the postwar/ semi-scale Lionel O gauge stuff. It has such a different feel to it than HO scale. I hope to have a small O gauge collection and maybe a 4-track layout
Cool shots for sure Corey!! Are you shooting in 60FPS?!

RTT thank you 😊!! Whenever I do videos like these I’m always doing 1080p 60fps to make them as smooth as possible!
Nice collection! I love the post war era and almost all of my layout is post war. They are fun to run and you don't have to be a computer wiz to repair them!

Pop popʻs Trains wow that must be an incredible collection then 😀! I wish I had enough room to build a big postwar layout haha! Thank you so much for the comment 😁!
Once I finshed my house and I make a layout this big my dad will kill me because of the nosie and electric bill spike 🤣
Can you make a video introducing people to this type of stuff when they don't understand it? So many terms you used went right over my head but im interested in toy trains

You know thats a pretty good idea so Iʻll have to keep that in mind! Iʻve been thinking about doing a video like that and itʻll take some time but Iʻm sure it would be fun! Thanks for the comment!
Beautiful trains and great video! I like that you have them running at more realistic speeds instead of the common postwar Lionel warp speeds! ☺ What kind of transformer are you using?
@RsTrainsonYT

rem1028 hey I’m glad you liked the video!! I’d still consider them running fast haha but yeah I guess there a little slower 😉! I’m using 2 postwar ZW’s to power the layout and the extension and have it set up in a block where one transformer powers one half and the other powers the other side. Thanks for the comment!

@@RsTrainsonYT That's a good idea. Your engines seem to run much smoother than I'm used to from powering with ZWs
Postwar trains are great. The hard part rn is fining em where guys are gouging for em. Paid $50 each for my 2025 & 2037 both w tenders, 41 army switcher, Alco 210 Texas special w dummy & magnetraction, Canadian pacific 8264, & yeah. $50-$100 is abt my engine spending budget. Some guys want more for their 41 army switcher even tho I paid $40 for mine last year, w the original owner manual I keep in a ziplock bag. I paid $230 for my 736 Berkshire w the 12 wheel tender, I think the tender shell is a reproduction, & the engine shell was repainted, & the wiring was re-done.
Thanks. Some pros like to run their trains so slow it is boring to me, but not your's.
I have a postwar New York Central F3 train from 1953. The horn keeps getting stuck and the pitch is always getting low and high. Is there a way to solve this issue to get it back to its original state? Im using modern day tracks with a power box. Should I use the original postwar track and controller? I dont know that to do.
I have a rare Lionel 773 Hudson semi scale from 1950 Lionel never released and it was never in production
im gonna get a emd f3 post war full engine set
I have a rare Lionel 1950 train set
Postwar is the REAL Lionel and their Postwar conventional classics are too. All that modern stuff is way too expensive for Christmas gifts and birthdays. The postwar American Flyer Trains are great too. Lionel h as produced lots of reissued products for both brànds! People living on Social security and small pension like myself cannot buy a $1000++ engine.

I couldnʻt have said that any better 😉! Not to mention the postwar stuff is easily going to outlive anything modern today no matter who the manufacturer thay made the locomotive was. And there pretty affordable as well! Thanks for the comment!

Yes, postwar trains will out last anything new.
The video would be much improved if 100 percent of the video was devoted to showing trains rather than showing the narrator's face. In fact, we don't need to see his face, at all. His voice narrating the video is the only audio needed. But at least he deserves credit for not having music and splash screens, both of which are annoying in other videos.
