Vintage Harmony Baritone Rubber Bridge Conversion
Музыка
Here's a vintage Harmony acoustic guitar that we restored and converted to a shortscale (24") baritone. We also implemented our own rubber bridge design which includes a premium piece of ebony and a soft rubber cylinder for a balanced & muted sound. This guitar also features our own tone circuit with a "tone shift" control (bass cut and treble cut with one knob) and a volume control. Both the tone and volume controls are independently bypass-able for maximum tonal and output options. This Harmony is a vibe machine - see and hear for yourselves!
SOLD | Please check our website or our Reverb shop for current listings.
To reserve the next available rubber bridge and choose the body and look of the guitar from our varied selection, you can place a deposit on our website. Right-handed or left-handed can be requested.

This is exactly what I’m looking for. Too bad it sold. Any plans on making something similar in the near future?

Hi, we are glad you like it and yes we are always making these! You can wait for one to pop up on our reverb page or even reserve one on our website moodguitars.com. They are all a little unique since we are dealing with vintage instruments but if you reach out to us by email we can send you some pics of what guitars are coming up on our bench at that moment. Our current lead time is 1-2weeks. Hope this info helps!

@@MoodGuitars thanks! Will do
Sounds amazing! What gauge of strings are you using to make the low tuning work on that scale length?

Thanks! The low “B” or 6th string is a 65 gauge. I think they are originally designed for a 7 string guitar. The 1st string is 14 or 16 gauge depending what feels good on that guitar. Then I just adjust the rest of them accordingly. I try to keep the 1st and 2nd strings to be plain and the others flatwound. They feel really easy to play despite being rather large. Hope that helps! -Kris

@@MoodGuitars What is the tuning you use on the two unwound strings using six strings of the seven string set? I ask because of the half step difference on the second string in std tuning.
Awesome sound! What camera and lenses do you use? Thanks

Thanks! It’s a Sony A7iii with a ZEISS Batis 85mm f/1.8
Anywhere I can find the tablature or a tutorial for the song in the demo? So pretty. Replayed this about 6 times now and I know it will take me forever to try and figure it out by ear.

Wow, thanks for liking it that much! We come up with all original songs for all of our demo videos, but I haven't gotten around to writing them out yet. If I have time soon, we will work on it and send it to you!
