Bogie pins sound serious
I am very amazed at your knowledge & skills & then some. Very glad I have discovered you'al. Would very much hope to have you in my future journey. Always, Tommy :-)
Jim, are those Bogie bushings Bronze on a steel pin? Or some other alloy r material?
Could you tell me why I would like to have riveted shoes and not bonded? Thanks

While it isn't normal it also isn't abnormal to find bonded linings broken away from the shoe. Typically high heat, abuse and/or emergency braking causes the adhesive to harden and break. Riveted shoes may (rarely) crack between rivets but almost never break loose from shoe. When they do it's usually a small end portion that causes no harm.
Wow! Still messing with these? I have two of the 26 footers; One is titled, runs and in my back yard for a few years now and another in a storage facility stripped but still has running gear, and other parts. My windshields on both are shot as well as the interiors. Any luck still getting these windshields installed and where? Thanks.......

Windshields are still available, A good glass shop can install them.

Why repack every 30 k miles. Grease fitting smart

No, it's not. These are sealed bearings, so if you add a grease fitting and then force new grease in, there is no place for the old grease to go. Sealed bearings must be disassembled, cleaned, and repacked with fresh grease. More work, but because they are sealed, it doesn't have to be done as often.
Misleading title.
