Trained here myself in 1974, Spent weeks learning how to use those Wheeled Escape Ladders then once Id finished basic training never touched or even saw one again!!!!

The old Dennis or Comar Appliance was Seen.
That's interesting. A large mix of PPE. Black wetlegs where your rear is exposed, Yellow wetlegs where they protect all your legs, but there's also the yellow ones with your rear exposed, which I've never seen before.
I was 5 when I was in and around a fire station or fire engine nice work if you can get in
Fast forward to present day and there'd be microwave dishes for Africa dotted all along the top of the training tower!
