Honestly I had to watch from the thumbnail. I’m not a big vintage connoisseur, but you maybe converting me. This is beautiful and it kinda gives Hermes vibes at the flap closure. I see a H. I love that there is barely any hardware on it. I feel that makes a bag more luxurious. I love the fact that the coach bags say where they are from and it all over. The Ergo was Dominican Republic and now Costa Rica. I love it!! It feels more transparent and realistic. Great buy!!

Ooooh I didn't even notice that but you are spot on! It really does feel so luxurious... The leather is 50 something years old and feels amazing still! It really does feel more transparent and so cool to know that much about the bag 😄❤️❤️

The hangtag is in perfect condition, made that way back then. Gorgeous vintage bag and the original hangtag is the chefs kiss. Great video!

Such a gorgeous courier! ❤ I use to use leather cpr and it did ok, but I have since switched to bick4 and for me it is absolute night and day! Bick 4 does a bit of a smell when you use it but it disappears quickly. Bick4 is the only conditioner I use now. I have also used bick4 on vachetta leather and it did not darken it at all, I use it for my exotics as well.

Great video, Millie! Very interesting to watch you clean and condition your bags. I have about 15 Vintage Coach bags that I acquired 3 years ago. They are mostly from the 1990s. Luckily, all of my bags were clean when I received them, but I still dunked and cleaned my bags and cleaned and cleaned and conditioned them. They turned out like brand new bags. They are so soft and clean. I am so pleased with the results. Have you considered dunking this bag? Or is it a no because of the era of the bag?

Hey Candice! That sounds like an awesome collection of 90s bags ☺️ I just saw you posted a video about a vintage bag too - planning to watch later today 😅 I haven't dunked any of mine but I have heard about that method! I've heard some people swear by it and others say it's bad for the bags. I also heard it can cause the older ones to develop mold, so that's the only reason I haven't. The saddle soap does seem to do a really good job of cleaning tho!

@@milliegalier can you use the saddle soap inside the bag? So far, I haven’t had any issues with mold. It was just a one time thing for me so I could make the bags my own. Once I took the bags out of the dunking water, I soaked up as much water as I could with towels. Then I used a blow dryer to help with the drying process. I didn’t dry the bag all the way because I didn’t want to dry out the leather. I allowed my bags to completely dry before cleaning and conditioning the outside. The key is you can’t allow the bags to sit in water while drying. I will have to do a video this summer to show my process. It has been requested but I just haven’t had the time.

@@contentwithcandace oh I would love to see you do a video on that!! I've seen a few before but it sounds like you have a really good process. I think you can only use saddle soap on the leather, not the inside. I have heard of products to use on the inside but have never tried them!
