Excellent restoration and video production. Great to watch

On something this old you should repack the bottom bracket and headset bearings to. Also replace those old brake pads. Rubber deteriorates with age. Those pads are dangerous to use.

Hello from UK I remember a store in manchester in 1980s sold motobecane bicycles at discount prices I had no money then.

A very nice sympathetic restoration, but I’m surprised that after all the effort you went to, you left the headset components with so much rust.

Schön das es erhalten wird. Aber ich dachte es wird lackiert nachdem der Rahmen am Anfang auf dem Boden gekratzt wurde. .

Hallo, ich habe noch ein altes Rennrad (original DRR-Diamantrad). Leider ist der Rahmen gebrochen unterhalb vom Sattel. Es wurde behelfsmäßig geschweißt. Die Sattelstütze sitzt jetzt mit fest. Gibt es Leute, welche solche Stahlrahmen professionell wieder zusammensetzen (schweißen) können, so dass sich eine Restaurierung lohnt?

Gibt es eine professionelle Möglichkeit die Aufkleber vom Rahmen eines vintage Rad zu konservieren?

tolles Video! Ist der essig wirklich so ein wundermittel oder hast du noch irgendwelche nachgeholfen? bin gerade selbst an der Restauration meines motobecane aber an essig hab ich nicht gedacht... VG

Vielen Dank! Tatsächlich war der Essig für die Restauration wirklich wie ein Wundermittel! Ich hätte nicht gedacht dass der Essig für 39ct vom Penny dermaßen gut wirkt!
