Vintage 1988 White-Westinghouse 7000 BTU air conditioner (WCI).

Very cool old unit with early digital controls. It's in very good condition and works very well. This is using the old style WCI chassis that is based off the old Westinghouse design. This machine would have been a very high-end model in its time. I've been looking for one of these for a long time and finally have one.

    My grandma had one of those (or similar model, but definitely a WW AC unit) when I was a kid. Those suckers were workhorses. I swear it cooled almost the entire damn house, lol.

    @vanillabiscotti I'm picturing a very dark smoked gray if I had to guess. If you can find out at some point, it'd be cool to know. If not, it's not a huge deal.

    Window unit, when you have Central AC? Is it cheaper to run a Window Unit vs using Central?

  • @brunoshow124

    @brunoshow124

    Ай бұрын

    @CWM030 I don't have central. It's just for heat. One house we did have central, but we did use window units at night in the bedrooms, and it was cheaper to run.
