Vinnie Moore è un nome che fa oramai parte dell’Olimpo della chitarra elettrica e della musica Heavy.
È in particolare considerato uno dei chitarristi più influenti della generazione dei guitar hero degli anni ’80, quei musicisti che univano gusto musicale, grande tecnica e una notevole predisposizione a fare fuoco e fiamme (a volte in senso letterale) sul palco.
Per noi è quindi un onore avere l’occasione di ospitare all’interno dei nostri nuovi studi romani un musicista di questa caratura, che si è messo davanti alle nostre telecamere munito della sua fidata chitarra Kramer per fare un po’ di chiacchiere sul passato, presente e futuro della musica e della sua attività.
Oggi Vinnie è ancora sulla cresta dell’onda, difatti ha inaugurato il suo tour europeo che lo vede proprio stasera a Roma, domani a Milano e il 7 maggio a Trofarello (Torino), dopodiché in varie città in tutta Europa.
Non perdetevi una di queste date live, perché vi assicuriamo che la potenza esplosiva di Vinnie non è calata neanche di una goccia in questi anni ed è ancora più che in grado di far tremare il palco e le prime file con il ruggito della sua chitarra!

Minds eye is Bible!
World cannot produce a second guitar player like Vinnie Moore. He is the most articulated guitar player of all time.
Vinnie comes across as such a mellow, down-to-earth guy and is such an incredible artist and guitarist. His music is unmatched, as is his playing. Always amazing.
Vinnie Moore is such an inspiring guitarist ...truly one of the best of this day and age.
Vinnie Moore is absolutely amazing guitarist. Love his earlier neoclassical albums, Mind's Eye, Time Odyssey, The Maze. They are among my favorite instrumental guitar records. His music is not like a shred but intresting composition-wise. Vinnie is a true music legend and deserves more wide recognition. Thank you for interview
Vin is a class act... when asked about this generation and playing he is cool about it and dont try to bash it all the way. You feel he is trying to say he fell gringe af and how plastic, fake, and superficial are things nowadays, but he choose good words and try not to harm anyone. By the end of the day you can see hes 100% real and raw and realy just loves to play his guitar.
I will never forget him, because he is the man where I first saw how to play the scale, I was a beginner and that was the first time I saw that the scale was played on all the strings, I will never forget his C major scale in his REH video :)

Every day I listen to the song Faith to melt into the day and then Slam to have a good dance, then my day starts perfectly🙂 You are Awesome Vinnie, and sooo inspiring as a guitarist and a humble person. And yes all I want to do is play guitar all day as well but have to go to a real job (so they say) Please tour New Zealand! Nuno Bettencourt has said exactly what Vinnie expressed about sound when he met Eddie Van Halen. Nuno plugged into Eddie’s rig, but he still sounded like Nuno. The sound comes from the player more than the equipment.
