Watched season 2 and yeah brilliant anime. I find it funny how my expectations for the show changed along with it cause at the start of season 2 I was hoping some action would happen and Thorfinn would do some more fighting but now that I've watched the entire season I'm happy with the pacifist themes. Listened to this vid more than a few times along with the Phoenix one, I love the song and the way how you mix Vinland Saga into it. Now I can't help but think about it when listening. The "Change my way" line hits especially hard with Vinland Sagas' themes. Nice vid toasty. Well done. Just some of the scenes are perfect for this song. I'm guessing some of the reasons you tied certain scenes to lines. My favourite guess is that near the beginning at 28 seconds, the "no food for you to eat" and the image of Askeladd dying is in reference to Thorfinn not getting his revenge. Top tier that!

thank you, I really appreciate it! I was a little wary at first of using the cave since it was such a departure from phoenix, but in the end I reasoned, well, s2 is a departure from s1 as you say here! and yeah the lyrics were just too good to miss out on haha
