People hate him because he is a rat, acting like a child, everytime he got pushed or tackled he is about to fight. If I had his speed and skills I'd be affraid not to get my legs broken and he is pushing it by arguing with oppostion every match. Showboating means unnecessary trickery that doesn't put the team collectively closer to their objectives. Tricks are cool but they are superfluous. This why neymar and Brazil haven't been very successful in a while. People like you don't seem to be able to understand that rabonas, rainbow flicks etc are more often than not DETRIMENTAL in a team sport. They look great on KZread comps, street football and circus in general but it's just unnecessary exhibitionism. Just compare to Messi. He's by far the best dribbler that ever lived and rarely, if ever, showboats. His technique is unparalleled but you guys don't seem to get what makes him so exceptional. It's the fact that he COULD spend all his career doing silly stuff like what vini does in the last 5 or 6 clips in this comp (which just amounts to moving Backwards just to humiliate the opponents and then losing the ball). No one who has played football liked to have a guy like that in your team who thinks he's special and never passes the ball when he should. I feel like Brazilians in general don't seem to get that Cruyff quote "playing football is a simple thing, but playing football in the most simple way is the hardest thing to do". And this is precisely why Messi is the 🐐. Every dribble, pass, shot etc is deliberate and objective. He's the kind of teammate everyone who plays football would LOVE to have on their side. Vini is a brilliant player! Neymar as well! But showboats and lacking team spirit, which is what gains them so many enemies.

@@ivoc3993 I think you should start by understanding that football is a diverse sport and has evolved over time. Players are different and special because they play in different ways. Objective football has prevailed in recent years, and that has killed diversity and playing styles, etc. Not every player should play like Messi. And you seem to have not seen Neymar play at Barcelona to be talking about things like tricks and "not helping the team collectively." Vinicius is by far the best at combining creativity with objectives in recent years in football. Complain, do trash talk like the MAJORITY of players do. Get out of your little Messi world where football must be played as you think. Sports and football are much simpler than your thesis of dribbling and objectivity. Don't kill the magic of the game. Maybe people like you can't see the different right in front of them because they're too busy licking their own opinion.

Brazilians for some reason think football has stopped in the 80s. Yesterday's price is not today's price! No one is killing anything. You still have brilliant players like Kvara or before him Hazard, that type of football will never die. I'm not "in my Messi world" you just sound really salty, probably because he's Argentinian. It's Messi's world and we're all just living in it. He never does step overs because he DOESN'T NEED TO. He invented a new way of playing football in the most simple and effective way. He throws the defenders off balance with body feints and then zaps in the opposite direction. That's his genius and that's WAY harder to do than all the rainbow flicks Vini loves to do.

Now it's not smart to dive to win a penalty because it will be overturned. This is GOOD for everyone. Going to the corner flag at the end of the game to waste time is still a thing, but it's just not as important as it used to be.

people need to learn the difference between dribbling and showboating. What Vini is doing in most of these clips is breaking defensive lines and progressing the ball. In very few he does showboat which honestly is absolutely fine too, football is also a mental game and doing so boosts your confidence and gets in your opponent's head.
