I can't recommend the full playthrough enough. Hypnospace Outlaw is one of the most surprising indie games to come out in years; there's lots of funny memes and what not but it has some of the genuinely best writing and storytelling I've seen. And Vinny's playthrough does it all justice, he finds so much of the good stuff. You take the hot butter.

When watching this on Fullsauce, watching this transition from a goofy 90s internet parody to this serious story of corruption and abuse of power leading to the deaths of people you interacted with through the internet was fuckin insane man. Also Zane was like 14 and kid deaths always fuck me up

This game is amazing. After watching Vinny’s stream I went out and got it for myself. It’s not too long, but the puzzles are fun and the plot is interesting.

Same. Midway through the second stream or so I decided to stop watching it and play it through myself. It's got a really unique sense of humor, and I can't think of any other adventure game that takes place on an alternate-history sleep internet.

Watched part 1, bought the game and soundtrack, laughed at the soundtrack being four times the size of the game itself, drooled on myself for about four hours because I was brainyotting hard at 6AM which made me resort to cheating myself out of organically discovering the Nov26 solution, then cringing a bit as Vinny brainyots all over the HAP section in stream 4.

Can I just say, thank you Vinny for introducing me to this. I got 3 minutes or so into the video and I immediately wanted to buy this and try it out and I hadn't really jumped into a game like that so quick for a while but...boy was this special. Massively appreciated. Also, COOLPUNK FOREVER. CHILL IT RIGHT!!

This game is great, I really recommend it! Spoilers Below: So it’s possible to save both the Burning Rubber guy, which Vinny did, and Zane, Though in the game’s files, there is a version of the news clip saying 3 people died. Which either means that there might be an update to save someone else (probably Mavis or the anti-government guy, since the other two are much more plot related.) or there were plans to save someone else, but it got scrapped.

RedLetterMedia sometimes calls a movie "perfect," not in that it's the _best_ but that it doesn't have any real flaws. I think Hypnospace is a "perfect" game; everything works exactly like you think it should, there's tons of bonus stuff to uncover, and it's pretty replayable for a linear narrative. There's so much attention and care put into it and it shows.
