1:02:40 Don't know the exact origin of the sprite, but it was used in a Sega Genesis bootleg called Super Mario World for... fireball shooting, I guess? It's not exactly that, more like Mario's version of Hadouken, because he shoots it so much it flies almost at the speed of light and destroys all enemies in it's way

I remember playing Toad and Toadette Strikes Back while growing up and I highly suggest Vinny giving these a second chance in the future, Thunder Dragon's projects tend to have some good quality surrounding them while having an engaging gameplay. I remember Toadette Strikes Back being my favorite out his games by how evolved it was from his previous works.

Yooo, that's a great game and starring my (unironically) favorite Mario character! I recognized a lot of the sound effects from Thousand Year Door like Toad landing and doors opening

i sent in Mario BP oil spill (didnt make it, 2010 newgrounds flash game). glad to see he played it

He really should check out Super Mario Kamek's Revenge (you can find in the Internet Archive), Mario plays the hurt sound whenever he runs into a wall (in autofire) and he can float while crouching in the air (when Mario's not small). The MIDI from the "secret" 2P game after you beat the main game (which is kinda short) can also pierce your ears

I appreciate that guy's dedication to recreating the zapper shot's visuals but throwing in a bullet sponge boss, giving confusing feedback (The square appears where you fire even if you miss, and it seems like those sprites have exact hurtboxes) and expecting you to machine gun the trigger is a recipe for migraines and seizures.

The Super Mario Land 2 "lego" area is actually a reference to one of Nintendo's old products, they did a lot of random physical toys before they settled on video games... knockoff legos being one of them. So it's not AS unlicensed as you'd think.

Its pretty foul the owner of the slime girl in the video that got vinny banned laughed, and felt proud they killed vinny.

I like how Vinny gets banned for a mildly inappropriate fan animation yet cam girls can literally goatse their audience and get a slap on the wrist _and_ keep their partnership. It’s a shame the chat replay isn’t here since it was on KZread, don’t know why Vinny didn’t just unlist the stream instead and leave a link to it here on the video uploads, KZread saves the live chat so it’s useful when it comes to replays. This was the first stream of his that I caught live because it was on KZread and I don’t normally use Twitch, so imagine my surprise when seeing Vinny streaming live on KZread. Still can’t believe he got slimed live on Twitch and got banned for a week because of it, still don’t have the full context for that though, heard it was something to do with a fan animation which was a little risqué and Twitch being prudes… Still think Vinny would have been fine had he decided to do a hot tub stream, we know Twitch loves those.
