Enjoyed this campaign, along with the 1910 campaign. As an American, it brings an unnatural sense of joy you’re starting a US campaign on July 4th, given it’s our nations birthday and the UK holding its elections that day :D One small request, a Constitution class ship in honor of USS Constitution which is still afloat and used in ceremonies. That would be spectacular! As always, hope you and yours are happy and healthy.

Looking forward to the next campaign :) would love to see a fleet of "hijacked" and improved ships from other nations :D

Well I'm really behind and not likely to catch up, but it's been fun. Might take some time getting my spreadsheet improved, especially the Naval reports, so they are more reliable.

San Justo has a 55km range. Which makes me think the maximum ordinate of the shell flight path is above the altitude where commercial jets fly.

Depends on the angle of the guns and the muzzle velocity but probably somewhere around 12,500m at the top of the shell path which would indeed give a commercial pilot a mild heart attack!

That was a great eplilogue to an epic campaign. Looking forward to the next one with its own challenges and perks.

Good game! It certainly ended in a very, very different way than the 1910 restart, but this campaign was also quite entertaining. And it's nice to see that the war with Germany ended in a kind of poetic justice way at the end! Enjoy your rest, admiral, and we'll reconvene on the Fourth of July for some Freedom and maybe some tea party.

VERY TRUE and it's just like the end of WW2 of the Western front.

Couple of things: 1: The last battle was something I could watch for days. 2: What's the start year of the US campaign? 3: Finished watching some of your old campaigns. My god, does DIP v2. make a HUGE impact and difference on UAD. Watching the old campaigns, found myself moaning and complaining a lot on the AI and the game in general. Much LESS with DIP. Your hard work has paid OFF!!

Great campaign! Certainly it was a hard slog for a long time, which was very interesting to see. Good poetic justice / full circle moment there at the end. :) Thanks very much!

My endgame supership in my American campaign: 100k tons with 8 x 20" guns with super-heavy shells (60+ km range) and 30 x 8" secondaries, not counting all of the 4" tertiary and 2.2" quaternary (I believe that's the right word.) guns. Thing was a nightmare against any enemy ships, although that was in the vanilla game, so I don't know how closely DIP can replicate it.
