He was such a wonderful gentleman, with that twinkle in his eyes and a great sense of humour, RIP Dear Vincent.
Just an awesome, classic, old school entertainer. They just know when to be “on” and don’t need a script and good lighting to make them cool.
Love his total honesty. 😍
An absolute colossus of horror!! An a real gent!!
Pure 'mastery' of the 'off the cuff' conversation, especially when he is talking about Michael Jackson and Thriller, pure comedic genius, fantastic timing and delivery that we never get to see now by actors being interviewed. Also, Aspel unlike big mouth show talk hosts we have now (I never watch) who want to be the centre of attention, by NOT interrupting and thus allowing their guests to know they will be given the time, and questions to perform as Vincent Price could do so well.

Yes it’s come from America though, this bit to camera, the jokes, the constant adverts. Graham Norton is the closest we have to this now in the UK and he’s still a long way off Parky and Wogan but at least he lets the guests talk and asks good questions.

@@dangale123 Yes I agree about Norton, he is the best of what we have but to honest I don't watch terrestrial TV now , i.e. chat shows, to me now at 71 years old, it is like watching 'Children's TV' we had back in B&W TV days.
Just perfect!
Loved this, thanks for posting.
Fantastic interview , thank you .
Oups, the last reply was brutal. 😢 Vinny darling, you didn't have to go that far. It was true, but... 😅
not bitter, just hurt

Aspel was crappie. Just a another posh voice on telly
A very dry sense of humour with a lot going on underneath :)
How rotten, Micheal made all that money off Thriller and Vincent was a major part of that song. Human greed never seems to astound me.

Michael Jackson was a wrong un. Not just a nonce but a greedy sly egotistical maniac who brought all the beatles records for himself. Tells you all you need to know.
Never liked aspel. Itv's answer to Parky and not a patch even close to the Barnsley interviewer
Michael Aspel was as boring AF !! It should have been Parkinson interviewing Vincent instead!!

Bang on! Aspel had nothing about him except a posh voice, this was enough in his day.
