we dont even need simons. kane at front, musiala behind, olise from the right, simons can play LW but hes a speedy guy with a good cut in finesse, he likes to come over the right side with his strong foot. only idea i would have, and ive been wanting to see that ( again, yes he played that a couple times under nagelsmann and tuchel ) musiala as an 8 so simons can play the 10. musiala isnt bad in defense, he can read the game well and maybe his vision and creation aswell as more space ahead of him ( which sometimes is a problem on the 10 ) he could be even better for us. and simons from the bench? he wont like that but i honestly dont really see a fitting role at our club / system we should play for him. pavlovic / kimmich most likely on the 8.

That’s patently wrong, I am 45yo, born and raised in Munich and Bayern Supporter since childhood. When you get asked in Munich if your supporting 1860 or Bayern, the answer was, I am red/Ich bin ein roter. You kids are just too young to remember the times 1860 was kinda relevant. And in town they still are, because those fans are hardcore. And both camps still exist, the reds and the blues. Probably not for some plastic fans from Castrop-Rauxel

Kompany is a very good coach. He plays a very attractive brand of football and knows how to extract the best out of the team. The reason he got relegated with Burnley last season was because the players were simply not of that level. But every game they played, even against the biggest teams, they gave a very commendable fight, and weren't toothless in the attack either. Kompany will not be a failure.

I think a starting lineup with both Musiala and Simons in the midfield would cause a defensive weakness in midfield. Musiala should be on the left over Sane and Simons in the CAM while either Kimmich or Pavlovic occupy the 8 in front of Palhinha

Actually I would have to agree with that. When Kompany was appointed I thought, are you sure? I could see the potential when he was at Burnley and it was the Players, who were just not doing what he was asking from them and I thought, "give him a better Squad, with Players that could actually play the game and understand it and he could do well", but to be honest I never saw him at Bayern. But I am slowly changing my mind and so far they are looking good, with the right Players being signed and let go, or will be let go. Of course the proof is on the field and that we will see soon enough and I hope that Kompany proves me 100% wrong in giving him the job.
