I loved watching these 2 go at it back in the day!You were almost guaranteed that one of these guys were gonna give you a highlight dunk

I've always felt that up until the halfway point (or so) of the 2000-01 season Vince was better than Kobe in terms of creating opportunities for himself and his team. But once Kobe figured it out, he was just miles ahead. Even in his vid, we see Kobe's varied ability to make scoring opportunities under pressure. Really reads the defense and not just forcing his way to his spot. That last shot (not missing the same shot twice in a row) is the hallmark of elite scoring ability.

Agree but i think Vince at the Same(offensive) level before injury(2002 not 2001)after Kobe surpass and never stop the run...

It was a hard season for the Raptors that year losing 13 games after the All-Star break that’s embarrassing and painful and Antonio Davis was doing his part every night but was not getting no help from other guys in the Raptors roster to win a game without Vince Carter

See the difference in defense? It's a totally different game now. I wouldn't even call todays game basketball. Volleyball is more physical now, and soccer makes the NBA look like crap. Players spend more time standing around than moving on the court now, and that's not even considering commercial breaks.
