My dad was the lighthouse keeper of Browns Head Light back in 70's before the CG automated them thats when my dad retired cause Government took his dream away.. As 1 of 4 kids that was my island i have stacks of growing up there, going to school, the doctors, i now have Browns Head Light tattooed to my forearm.. That tat tell the story of island living..

Are there any remains on the island of the Bodwell Granite Co, which provided the granite for many Federal buildings in the latter part of the 19th century.
