I am an 80 year old man and I tear up at this. Vin stayed with me many years ago when I booked him for a folk club I was running in Wales. A genuine person and a pleasure to know.

Chris, this is such a poignant tribute to Vin. His singing, as always, is so heartfelt and passionate. And the words to the song are so achingly true...thanks.

Well I think we all knew Vin and miss him so much. He was so talented and such a wonderful person. I first met him at a folk club in Nantwich in 1986. One of the best people ever .

Vin. Total genius. I have lots of memories of Vin's gigs over the years. I coincidentally met him on one occasion, maybe ten years ago in Loftus, Christmas Eve coming out of an off-licence; he was carrying a huge armful of booze and I was about to follow his example.
