    This guy has had a fabulous rise and career. He earned it. He’s a very likable guy. I think Paul’s death hit him harder then anyone realized and between that, getting older and raising a family he changed. Nothing wrong with getting older, we all do it. There will never be a “fall” of Vin Diesel. When u have his kind of success it’s normal to think about slowing down or dropping out of the spotlight and just living, enjoying the fruits of your labor. If i had his money i’d retire and move to Tahiti and go fishing every day.

    I really enjoyed the movie Bloodshot! Vin Diesel is a very good actor & doesn't look or act as thogh he's 50+ years-old. In all honesty, I thought that he was in his late 30s. So, he shows that age is truly just a number. You can look, feel, & act your age or you can be as young as your heart says that you are.

  • @philosophyofgame6155

    @philosophyofgame6155

    Жыл бұрын

    @@cotydwight4201 Well, that's your opinion. I wouldn't say it's narcissism, as it's a very strong word, fits more to people like Ellen DeGeneres or Kardashian family. I don't see many narcissistic traits when I look at Vin. You making it sound easy - "Employing yourself in your own movie franchises" ... but he had to earn all of that first. He was building his franchises for decades, putting his own money on the line at least few times, just so the movie can be done. He also opened the door for many others - for example Gal Gadot got noticed in Hollywood after starring in F&F4 - he wouldn't do that if he was a narcissist.

  • @cotydwight4201

    @cotydwight4201

    Жыл бұрын

    By your line of reasoning Ellen is as self made as Vin. They both have high risk to reward ratios but also both share creating toxic work environments to facilitate having massive weak egos. So idk looks like narcissism still applies even viewed from your perspective. I get that he's famous but that doesn't exempt him from criticism or judgment. He may not be as bad as I portray him but he isn't as righteous as you portray either. Perhaps we meet in the middle and say "He has accomplished much and propelled others into stardom, despite his overcomplicating and fragile ego."

  • @philosophyofgame6155

    @philosophyofgame6155

    Жыл бұрын

    @@cotydwight4201 I wasn't arguing that Ellen isn't self-made, do you even read what you're answering to? I said she's a good example of narcissism - she still can be self made, as one doesn't exclude the other. Few years ago there was whole drama about it, multiple of her former employees stepped up against her, to the point where she had to officially apologise. Never seen such thing about Vin, people from his environment always have something positive to say about him. And yes - both Ellen and Vin work in showbusiness, but that alone doesn't prove anything, and is just a generalisation on your side. I'm not defending him bc he's famous. I was directly anwsering to your allegation about his narcissism - which I think was not accurate thing to say about him at all. Can u put forward some examples of his narcissism or - as u put it later - fragile ego? I brought up an example of his kindness to back up my claim. U insist on "his overcomplicating and fragile ego", without pointing out a single example to backup your claim. You are making the accusation - you have a burden to bring at least one example to back it up. Biggest negatives I can find about him right now is one cringy interview (in vid at 50:00) where he scared that girl - it's literally his lowest known moment in... his whole career? If he would do things like that repeatedly, I would say there's something wrong with him, but as for now he had one awful interview in span of few decades, so I wouldn't say he's a generally bad human being bc of that. Sometimes he says something corny, or dumb on live - yea, but that still doesn't make him a bad person.

    It’s interesting how much he narrowed the roles he portrays for so long. Since 2009 he outside of being Dom in all the Fast movies, Groot in Marvel movies and Rodrick he has reprised his prior role as Xander Cage but otherwise had three other roles as brand new characters. It’s also funny to consider that he wasn’t the first choice for Dom and that he originally declined to reprise the role since he felt the sequel was inferior. And that he didn’t have plans to return to the franchise until universal was worried about how the third movie would perform and basically gave him all he could ask for to appear in a cameo and return for a fourth film. And ever since has immense control of the entire franchise. Now that it seems the Fast series may be coming to its end as well as Groot it’ll be interesting to see how he moves forward considering he has almost exclusively played Dom, Groot and Riddick for like 16 years with the few new characters he has played seeing poor financial results (Bloodshot is a bit unfair considering it was released basically right as COVID closed down movie theaters so who knows how it may have done otherwise).

    There are all lowlifes in the fast and furious. His buddy Paul Walker was recklessly speeding down a California road, putting lives in danger. Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell, was just 16 when she started dating Cho Mo Paul, who at the time was 33. Would you still call him a nice guy? This happens when you customize and modify supercars and then drive them on public roads as if they were ordinary cars.

    So you're saying that Step Up(the first movie) is based on Vin Diesel's real experience entering the performing arts?

    💡I hate it when people simply disregard the key information when it comes to a man leaving a woman😖 Now they're making it seem like this man's biological father just walked away from his CHILD as if he said "fk this kid"😞 But they never even thought about what happened with this woman and man, now how was this woman in a relationship with Mark's/Vin's stepdad in the early 60's and Mark/Vin was born in the late 60's but his father is another man than who his mother was in a relationship with!💥😱 Sounds to me like someone was messing around, and this society always fault the men but NEVER fault the woman for her "doings"😖 I guess it's easier to post blame on the men since it's what this simple minded society has become and and trained to be accustomed to😷 And that right there has been the csuse of every great empire's demise in history, and will continue to repeat itself!💥😔
