is there an adapter that you can put on a 70d to put mirrorless lens on them

Not as far as I am aware of, and certainly not by Canon. M lenses are not being developed any more. RF and RF-s are the only new ones. In any case you can pick up cheaper EF or EF-S lens for your 70d. Thank you for watching
