The knob on the side, can it be used to zoom in and out? Seems like that would be a good function for it, especially when you have the sun hood on.

well, hard to answer right now ... I'll have to wait for a firmware update and use it a bit more to give a true final verdict ... so far can say it's a solid monitor, nothing special tho ... the only thing that is a bit odd, the monitor has a fan for cooling and it might be a bit too noisy if you shoot interviews in a quiet studio environment... will have to test this a bit more and explain in my full hands-on video next month. Also, seems not to be available at Amazon and so on yet, so if you need/want a monitor now... maybe look for other options...

so with my Sony A7sIII, I noticed that if I shoot 4k 25p the HDMI input works fine with 2160p but if I shoot 4k 50p I have to set the HDMI output of the a7sIII to 1080p in the HDMI Output Settings since the monitor only can accept 4k/2160p up to 30fps ... That is something my Portkeys PT5 has no issues with, even tho it also only can do 2160 up to 30fps but does better HDMI "communication" with the A7sIII it seems.
Just got this monitor yesterday, em, expected more to be honest, it is a decent monitor but nothing standing out

well, I want to use it for a bit to give a real comment on that ... but 1st impression ... it's alright for the money ... Portkeys PT5 and Atomos Shinobi might feel a bit more solid
