Villefranche-sur-Mer is a small commune and a village located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region on the French Riviera, in the southeast of France. Villefranche is the main cruise port for Nice as the Bay of Villefranche has a deep natural harbour that provides safe anchorage for large cruise vessels.
Due to its proximity to Nice, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Cannes, Eze and Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Villefranche is one of the major stops in the Mediterranean cruise itineraries. 🚢
