High profile players dont make the team. The Managers vision is what its all about. And for a team of our calibre we absolutely have to have the best there is. When I was a lad - many decades ago - when an English league team played away in Europe it was considered a massive triumph if we beat the opposition over there, according to the superior refined skills of Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch or even French teams. These days, teams abroad must shake in their shoes when hosting one of the top teams from the Premier League - Chelsea, Liverpool, Man. U., or Man. City.......or even some lesser teams. English football inevitably rules European international competitions these days. How great is that. HOWEVER -.I can't believe Pochettino would give up managing the likes of Neymar, Messi and M'Bappe to come back to the U.K. and run the current confused squad of Man. U. players. I know I wouldn't.

If Carrick is offered a permanent contract, every EPL club will pop the champagne bottle.

When de Gea said the team didn't know what to do when they had the ball he's telling you the manager is failing. If players could just win games off their own bat there would be no need for managers. Get real.

Poch did well but very lucky to get to final. Ajax with fraction of resources should have been there.

The people sitting on the top of the board wants exactly as you, but not the football fans who loves the game and the club. You are asking to give the team in the hands of a group of people who are responsible for current scenario of the team performance. The win is gifted by the mistake of Atlanta team and the clean sheet is by the brilliant performance of our GK. The man who played brilliantly in the Watford game was forced to play in No.10 position, the players who were useless in the center defense and midfield were allowed to continue the same!!! . Don't forget we played the exact crap game that we did against to most of our opponents for more than 70 mints. in this game also. Can you specify a single thing that is improved by this coaching staff including Carrick? Please don't argue for the people who have lowered the standards of the club worse than that of a 2nd Division Team.

guys lets get some facts concerning Michael Carrick, before you all dismiss him without thinking it through, he has worked under as coach adviser to Jose, ole another that equates to 6 or 7 years, also taken much knowledge from sir Alex himself, that in itself is a very good term of learning right, anyone disagree so far,? he's been at man utd how many years as a player he was like a Paul Scholes and one of the most decorated 12 years as a player, had captained too, so its not as if he has not done an apprenticeship is it, then consider what I said in other posts on his player response at Villarreal , one match true is not much to go on, but again considering all that and this too would you seriously ignore all of that and this, you would be very foolish indeed to ignore all of that, its almost like he's been their all those years waiting for this, my opinion you would be an idiot not to keep him their and wait and see, his record says it all to me,

It's amusing to hear these see saw ramblings from guys who backed ole because he 'knew the club' over a big name 3 years ago. When they had Van gaal and mourinho they complained they weren't progressing. The reality is man United have a culture of negative, counter attacking football. Moyes, van gaal, mourinho and soljskaer. You cant expect an attacking coach to walk in and change it overnight. Either accept 4-5 years in the doldrums changing the culture and the indentity or carry on with the Galactico charade.

Ole out of the team man united winning ways
