to those critics who say modern music is rubbish, they ought to look harder. unfortunately mainstream media is full of rubbish. glad to have discovered Villagers, no matter how late. they have a timeless appeal

UH wow! mind blowingly good. I love the metaphor of our lives as waves, everything is made of waves (vibrations) and we are approaching the shore.

Huge Villagers fan, seen them 3 times. Only just heard about Awayland and came across this track. Within seconds I was thinking "ah crap, electronic sounds"... but that voice drowned within about a minute. I quickly realised that it doesn't matter, this is a beautiful song - it works. Evolution = positive. Conor's lyrical prowess hasn't withered. I can't wait to see them on the album tour!

Refreshing tune, good lines, trippy video that throws us back to early '90s way of making music videos. Loved it!

Guys, if you actually look past the video, the song isn't actually that different to much of the b-side tracking on Becoming A Jackal. I personally love it. Just goes to show how much the lads are a master of many trades and are able to do both stripped down tracks and more sonic tunes. They'll go far as they are so consistantly awesome.

I'm a huge fan of their first album. For me, seeing this for the first time was a bit jarring, but I've actually come to really like the song on its own, though not accompanied with the video. Maybe it's the wild color schemes or the shakiness, but the video just makes me feel seasick (waves = seasick...makes sense to me). Song is awesome though, really glad to see that they're implementing in new sounds.
