I grew up in Hampton court with my grandparents in the 60's-70's. Lot 16 I believe. Left in 1973 to move to Canada with my parents and sisters. I went to Anna Regina secondary school. I love all your videos. Thank you. A lot of changes. I was hoping to see my grandparents house. My aunt still lives there!!

Hi there I am originally from Fiji but living in Australia now.I have Indian lineage just like yous. Its so nice to watch your videos, the life style, the food, the friendship, the fishing boats, the houses, the hanuman ji flags, just about everything is so similar to us Fijians,it's just unbelievable.History says when Indians were taken out of India as Indentured labourers many families got separated when boarding boats. That's why some of us in Fiji,Guyana,Suriname,Trini etc.Deep down I know we are long lost families.Cheers for your videos bro.

Always wanted to go back here. Everytime i would have this seawall in my dreams pulling me back here. Strange that now i cannot go back here, this is now in a video and straight back to me...'Cap' used to be our neighbour. The house i lived in next to 'Cap' is broken down since it got old. Thanks a million more than u can imagine for this.

Guyana has six different races Nikesh. Most people are unaware of this fact. Most Americans think there are only blacks in Guyana, however those who are from there know the racial makeup and though the two dominant races blacks and East Indians don't always see eye to eye on politics, like everywhere else, we all do have a love for our country. And in the end, I guess that's all that matters.

Seeing your video and hearing you talking about growing up in Hampton Court, reminds me of growing up on National Avenue in South Ruimveldt. Me and my friends would go into the cane fields behind our house and eat the sugar cane and travel in the pontoons that transport the sugar cane, catch hassa fish and go swimming in the river there. Ah, life seemed so much simpler back then. This was in the late 80's for me. :)

And in my present he tried to return your call when you were going to Essequibo. I have been dealing with Rickey and his uncle for over thirty years. Enjoy God bless. Keep doing the good work.
