Apparently at the time of its release _Thor: The Dark World_ was the lowest and worst reviewed MCU film with a critical score of 64-65% on Rotten Tomatoes beating out _The Incredible Hulk’s_ critical score of 67%, compared to the other Phase 1-2 Marvel films that had scores within the 72-85% or 87-96% critical praise. In addition, Patty Jenkins was set to direct _Thor: The Dark World_ but left the project two months later due to the film’s script not being good and creative differences from Marvel Studios. Now I don’t know how the film would’ve been like if Patty directed it and rewrite the script, but personally I think it would’ve been a much different film than the final film that we’ve gotten, but that’s just me.

If Patty Jenkins had directed it we would have had lady Thor way earlier in the MCU I think it’s the reason that Jane goes to Asgard to set it up and the reason Portman threw a wobbly after Jenkins turned it down

There is also scene after the final credits showing the warriors three bringing the aether to The Collector. They don't want to keep it on Asgard since it already has an Infinity Stone and they feel it's safer not to keep them in the same place. It's an important plotpoint going forward.

sadly i dont think they think it's relevant. I think when they saw the avengers, they didn't saw the credits scene when thanos appeared.

It is. But I would also like it if they squeezed Spider Man Homecoming (2017) ahead of the release order. Chronologically Spider-Man takes place before Civil War (2016). The reason they added Spider-Man later is because they wanted his appearance in Civil War to be a surprise. But obviously this won't be a surprise to rural Indians who have no idea who Spider-Man is. Therefore the Spider-Man reveal in Civil War will be more fun if they see Homecoming before Civil War. It's not a huge deal if this doesn't happen though. If they find out who Spider-Man is after Civil War that could be enjoyable as well. I just think that chronological is easier to follow than release order in this case.

@@xavieriswavier True but that's 3 more movies to splice in between The Winter Soldier and Civil War while Homecoming is just one movie, about the actual Spider-man that is ctually part of the Avengers story.
Happy to see the marvel movies so close to eachother! I really think you should try to let them get through the mcu movies as much as possible, it will honestly do your channel well ❤

I believe it's because they know THE DARK WORLD will stick out more and invite hate due to the movie... yet if they skip the movie, that would invite hate for skipping part of the journey

I like the that Fandral in this movie is played by Zackray Levi who goes on to play Shazam or adult Billy Batson in the 2019 DC Comics Superhero movie Shazam! It quickly became one of my favorite superhero movies ever. My top 10 favorite superhero movies are 1. The Dark Knight (2008) 2. Spider-Man 2 (2004) 3. Avengers Infinity War(2018) 4. Captain America The Winter Soldier (2014) 5. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.3(2023) 6. The Batman (2022) 7. Shazam!(2019) 8. Wonder Woman (2017) 9. Thor Ragnarok (2017) 10. Deadpool (2016)

I suggest showing them cartoons during breaks between Marvel films. For example, "Zootopia", trilogy "How to train your dragon", quadrology "Shrek", "Soul", "Raya and the last dragon".

27:00 didn't remember that part... that's a pretty badass twist on the archetype of _grenadier_ me being a guy who favors grenadiers in games, that would be a great gimmick to have: the banishment grenade. instead of "HAAAALELLUJAH!".... you go "ffFfFffFffFFWOOMP!" gone.

They were just too lazy to write the full title, just like when we are at the movie theater, we only say "2 tickets to Thor movie, please" No matter which Thor it is.
I was confused and almost didn’t watch. You should edit the title to say Thor the dark world.

I love the cringe whenever Babu sings. Meanwhile, it's kind of endearingly cute. Auto-tune that, put some beats behind him, and a couple chords, and you could have the next "Ain't Nobody Got Time For That."

Just like your Hindu gods, that's what Odin, Thor, Loki and many of the other Asgardians are, but they are norse gods. And the place Asgard, and the other places Thor talks about, are not other planets, but other realms. Meaning something like paralell universes, or other dimensions. And according to the description given in the movie, there are 9 of these dimensions, if I remember correctly. Also, the title is wrong, this is 'Thor - The Dark World', and not the first Thor movie, which the title seem to suggest.

I'm pretty sure that any life form that doesn't come from Earth should be classified as an alien. Even in the MARVEL universe. I'm also sure that within the MARVEL universe, "people" from Earth have labelled the Asgardians as "aliens". :-D I know my homies.

Ye but... In marvel it is count a actually existing in physical plane like another planet. In Marvel and MCU heaven and hell does exist as other realms not accessible by living beings. More a spiritual planes.

Thor is based on a Marvel character based on Norse mythology, but a lot of the story in the films aren't exactly accurate to the myths. For those who don't know, Thor doesn't fly with the weight of his hammer, but on a sleigh with two goats, which he eats and revives. He also is known to have red hair and married to Lady Sif. Some argue that Christians invented Loki to give Norsemen a "Satan" to deal with, but I don't know if that's propaganda.

There are myths mentioning Loki on carved stones from the Norse, so we know he was part of their religion. But we're still unsure what exactly his role as a god was; it is only much later that he is considered as the devil figure.
