I was actually supposed to fly to MN for this game with a buddy but those plans fell through. We ended up going to a sports bar to watch this. I'm from AZ so the bar was packed with cards fans. Everyone was giving me a hard time until we pulled through in OT and I serenaded everyone with SKOL Vikings. Good times!

It's 2020 and I remember it like it was yesterday. I walked out when we were down two possessions, and was outside when I heard my neighbor's radio saying it was all tied up. That's what made me see the ending. Crazy how fast time flies.

I was at this game 3rd row seats. After this game, I can now say I am a Vikings fan. I was shaking from the energy of the crowd and it felt like I was in a Colosseum. Thank you Vikings and fans :) its rough sometimes but its worth it.

The fact that Adrian Peterson is still one of the best RBs playing amazes me. Skol Vikings!

U remember that's when the saints players intentionally dived at Favres legs , you know because they where trying to hurt him. That puts them in field goal range on that particular drive. And in overtime one of the worst pass int calls I've ever seen in my life.

This is what Favre brought to the NFL week in and week out the potential for hella crazy comebacks from his team was always there. I loved watching him play my favorite player of all time!

As a viking fan, so many bad memories from that era just came flying back.

This was their superbowl team. If Farve didn't get hurt by Sean Peyton's Bounty thingy. They would have won the Superbowl. :D

YA_DAT_WAZ_ME 29 Yes, what about it? That was the NFC Championship in January 2010 after the 2009 season. This game happened in October 2010. Favre was banged up in that game, but not seriously injured. He was healthy in time for this season. You can't say a 6-10 team deserved to win the SB. What did this team in was Sidney Rice's injury & Favre sitting out camp until August when he had new receivers. His 33 TD, 7 INT from the year before flipped as he got a year older.

I just love 4th quarter comebacks! Whether it's *Kenny Stabler*, *Joe Montana* or *Brett Favre*, they are magical to see. Could add *Dan Marino* and *John Elway* to that list, but 4th quarter magic is just that... 4th quarter *MAGIC*!!!

Vikings are on the way back up. We finally got a quarterback. That was the big piece. We will have him for 12 years or so. Our defense went from close to last to about the middle. Next year, top 10. Will fight for Wild Card. Pack with Rodgers still too good.

Kevin Anderton Kevin. I agree. I think outside chance at wild card is kind of what realistic fans want. But, damn. Aaron Rodgers is a freaky good QB. And the Packers will be a force to deal with. But I will tell you I'm not sold on Cutler or Stafford. Really. Cutler likes to throw the ball to guys in other jerseys, and Stafford has become dependent on Calvin Johnson, who has padded the stats. It will be exciting to watch. Yeah, the Vikes have a couple years to go to perhaps contend.

This is the first time I can remember since Bud Grant that I have full confidence in the head coach. I think the players really buy into Zimmer. He is no-nonsense. The only purple jersey I would ever wear is one that reads FAVRE on the back. #4 had a lot of help from his defense here, but make no mistake...those passes were spot on and could not have been any better under this amount of pressure. And Minnesota would not made it nearly as far as they did without him. Best QB of all time, and these highlights are but only one example of why. Go ahead and argue with me on that. Most consecutive games started as a QB says just as much as any QB rating. If you understand anything about the sport then you will know what I'm talking about. #GOPACKGO

And it was cheating they got caught and had players and coaches got suspended and also had draft picks stripped from them. I'm not bitching about it they got caught and it is done with. I was at this game. The Metrodome was LOUD LOUD LOUD. That season ended up being 6-10, but this game was a highlight in Favre's career.

There's a couple reasons the 2010 Vikings didn't live up to their expectations: 1. Brett's O-Line really let him down at times 2. Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice missing some SIGNIFICANT playing time due to injuries. Harvin also suffered from migraines. That was the whole reason why they picked up Randy Moss. 3. Aside from what you saw in this video, the defensive line just wasn't hitting home to opposing quarterbacks. I believe the Vikings had the most sacks in 2009 and that total dropped

This is one of very few highlights from the 50th anniversary season, this franchise is so cursed that the damn roof caved in! Murphy's law if it can go wrong, it will go wrong in Minnesota! Loved watching Favre play though, a hell of a lot of fun in 2009
