Joakim apparently for songs like this which they sing in Swedish and English sometimes starts a song in English and ends the song in Swedish. I think they sing in Swedish for the home crowd and where the crowds knowledge of English is weak (I am not sure what they sing when in the USA given this rule LOL) I had only seen the Christian Ripkens video from the same tour but the English version as Christian Ripkens does a lot of work for Electric Callboy and did the official video for Parasite I looked him up and he did a live from this tour too: kzread.info/dash/bejne/p2WIypSheLidn5c.html It is interesting to see the same song through the eyes of different people.

@@umarae27 I even loved THAT! It's very eerie, but...there's life in it, besides. I can think of a siren that was NOT sounded, in a very recent tragedy. You can probably figure that one out pretty quickly. I went through the HUGE Alaska Earthquake, in 1964. We had NO warning of that monster coming our way. Nowadays, pretty much everywhere, there are systems that will begin to let people know very early on, when such a quake even MIGHT be coming, but back then...not...at least not in our very tiny town. Sorry...tears building up. Out of the 500-ish people who resided there at that point in time--people with whom I had known and lived since I was two years old (I was 14 at the time), 36 of them were just...GONE...after the quake hit and the tsunami took out pretty much everyone still in the vicinity of the BIG (commercial) dock, where there was a huge supply ship anchored. It was a total miracle (and a captain who knew EXACTLY how to get his men to do EXACTLY what they needed to do to keep the engines going, even when the ship was being almost completely turned over, in which case, all would have been lost. As it was, there were some casualties, and some injuries, but not like it could have been, due to that man holding onto his senses, rather than giving up in fear. Anyway...yeah...sirens are not always a bad thing, and though they tend to "run one through" due to their piercing qualities, I value them very much, and instantly knew what they meant--even without the English lyrics to know what was going on. OH, MY WORD!

@GrandmasGotGraceLW my heart goes out to you & the others for having to go through such a terribly tragic ordeal. Dutchsense & a few others are helpful, but in my area the phone alert comes at the same exact time as the quake does. Not very helpful as of yet. But, I get your point, & thank you for sharing with me. Now I won't mind the beginning siren like before. God bless you & yours!

@@umarae27 I was just re-reading your comment, and realized who you were talking about, regarding the earthquakes. He is VERY good! The problem is (as with several others I know with that type of expertise), there are people in other places who do not WANT generalized people to know what those experts know. In fact, they will do just about anything to get them taken down, unfortunately (sigh).

Gustav Adolphus is one the few guys in history who truly was a great nobel figure. He practice religious tolerance in age of bigotry and his wars were brought on his foes. He went to Germany because the Emperor was going to attack Sweden after his consolidated his control in Germany.

YES!!! I totally agree! I grew up in a household with a master (mistress?) violinist...MY MOM! She would have LOVED to have played in this set! In Old Valdez, Alaska (before the big quake in 1964) there were about 12 musicians in a town of around 500 (give-or-take a little, depending on the seasons). My mom and "her" small band, played anywhere and just about everywhere in town, for just about any occasion, and they were REALLY GOOD! The string bass player also played cello. They would often practice at our house, and even if they practiced somewhere else, we kids would usually be wherever that was. We grew up ENSCONCED in excellent music of a huge variety. We all grew up singing and playing instruments, as well. I never played any strings except guitar, and my style was never like this. I always loved old folk-style songs (think Burl Ives, etc.), and that's where I went with my guitar. Now for my cornet, I went for STRONG, and for winning the battles. I also LOVED The Tijuana Brass, for their liveliness and very often strong lyrics that went with their sound. Herb Alpert, for most of my high school years, was my idol. I could play EVERY song of his that I ever heard (and some of them still wind their ways through my head, as soon as I hear just a phrase that sounds anything like them). Anyway...YES! The cello is MEANT to be in this type of a setting...ABSOLUTELY! If anyone has ever watched and listened to "2Cellos" they should understand. 😀
