G'day Viking, The Phantom Of The Opera was mum's favourite stage show, she had a copy of the original debut cast album with Michael Crawford (Frank Spencer in Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em) and Sarah Brightman (then wife of Andrew Lloyd Webber) in the lead roles. After all these years someone has come along and outdone Mr Crawford. The fact that he is "an idiot from a third world country" to quote Dan himself, makes it even more perfect and delicious. Daniel can, and does, sing everything so much better than the original and he deserves all the accolades he receives. I can't wait for his next project to drop, in the meantime I have his channel to re-explore as well as the work he has done with other musos, including Luis Mariutti and Richardo Confessori and Edu Falaschi, to name but a few... this young bloke has such a brilliant future ahead and it's all in his own hands... 😁 🙃🐨🇦🇺

Same here! I actually know someone IRL who claims he doesn't like Dan's music just because he doesn't like his opinions and the brutal honesty. Me? I judge music solely on the merits of the music itself.

Thanks for your ballroom video! I love Dan's cover of "Over the Hills and Far Away". He doesn't scream in it, Perhaps because it's an old Irish song of a man imprisoned unjustly because he won't divulge his alibi to protect the woman he loves. I just watched this reaction again. You have a great voice yourself. Your tango? Was beautiful. One of my sons danced for 10 years. He was the am, of pro-am team and Lindsay Rutherford was his pro. They danced out of Fred Astaire -Indianapolis North studio. We need to hear more of your singing. It was great.

Also have to agree - no-one has been disappointed with any performance from Dan, most say it's either their favourite rendition of whichever song he's sung or can't quite believe how he changes it up into something incredible. (There's some early stuff he's left on YT which shows how far he has come). I think you will love My Mother Told Me' (Song of the Vikings) it's amazing but I would also love you to react to 'Gethsemane' from 'Jesus Christ Superstar' I've see it on stage several times and well - I'll let you decide. Also 'Music of the Night' from Phantom is sublime.

Happened to notice this reaction video done before I knew of your channel, Viking. The reaction was great, of course. Your sense of humor always gets me tickled. The bonus, however, was learning about your portrayal of the Phantom in another language and realizing how good of a singer you were (& may still be). That short glimpse into the Viking Phantom and your bit of ballroom dancing was amazing. 😊

Wonderful reaction! It's really nice to see someone reacting who is already familiar with the original. Thank you very, very much! You truly are one of the VERY best reactors, as far as I'm concerned. Keep up the good work, sir (I'm sure you will). I think you're right...Dan is never going to fail. I've watched every one of his videos many times over, now, and...nope...no fails. 😀 You will never have to screen Dan's work. However, if you do go public with your Patreon account, I will more than likely join (it will depend on my financial state at the time). I'm already a patron for quite a few reactors, and for three artists themselves. One of those, by the way is Dan's younger brother Davi Vasc, who is a wonderful composer and songwriter. He and Dan wrote and composed their full album "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom," which you can find on Spotify, etc. Dan also has a few videos in his library, that are really great. Davi also composes music for computer games. His OSTs are FANTASTIC! I've just purchased the two versions of the one for the game Coromon. On top of that, he runs two YT channels. One is where he listens to play-throughs of people PLAYING the games, but he isn't WATCHING those play-throughs. He responds to the music, and tells what's happening while the music is playing. He has a HUGE understanding of music theory, and how people write those pies FOR the games. So far, I haven't seen him miss, on what he says is happening in the game, as he reacts to the music and takes it apart for people to understand better. I'm hoping you might be interested in reacting to at least one or two of those videos. They are REALLY good. His other channel is where he actually PLAYS the games, and they are all initially LIVE, with people online reacting to HIM, as he plays. He's very good at those kinds of things.
