A new single is coming this month right before the album drops, so get ready for more, meanwhile you can enjoy "Divine Attack - Shingeki" official visualizer, "Monochrome" official lyrics video, and METAL KINGDOM official MV, so far no one is having any copyright blocked issues so don't worry about it. L&D is another great pop rock ballad with beautiful SuMetal vocals piercing into our hearts. Love the J-pop sound and the nostalgic vibes mixed with the edm sound. Here's some info about this song: _"One of the discovered 10 parallel worlds is "LIGHT AND DARKNESS" and this 4th pre-release digital single “Light and Darkness” centers around this theme. Because light exists, darkness also exists._ _And because darkness is present, there is also a world that shines._ _During the night when light and darkness intersect, what we seek after poisoned with darkness awaits a world filled with strong love. As the door opens, is it hope or despair that awaits us? The song expresses the duality in everything and the way things are perceived and interpreted differ depending on each person’s point of view."_ This was a world premiere at Makuhari Messe 2023 setlist, along with "THE LEGEND" (maybe the next single), Momoko Okazaki is the third backup dancer performing here and possibly the new official member. Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 Are you going to Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam, on May 3 where BABYMETAL perform as special guest to Sabaton concert? "Difference" and "Diversity" is another name of BABYMETAL. Especially coming new album, a "concept album", must have an underlying story to be told whether explicitly or implicitly and 10 songs therein must tell us 10 different chapters in the story. As an eyewitness at the venue on Jan. 28/29, I guarantee that the real live audio with Kami Band had more power and heaviness to stir your feelings. (This live footage + studio audio is good, too though) High and low undulation of Su's voice with maturity and sharp moves by Moa and Momoko disordered my emotions 😱. Although I was too mesmerized to digest everything at the live debut, I finally grasped its artistry as a whole by this MV. (Kami Band was on the east stage that was not captured in this MV) I am looking forward to seeing the live performance of this song again in two-day shows on April 1/2 in Yokohama. We are supposed to know who the official new member, the 3rd girl, will be.

I am indeed going to see Sabaton in May :). So it appears I will be seeing Babymetal as well. I have to say I wasn't aware of that fact but that is amazing news :)

This one has certainly garnered a pretty varied response from fans. Some people really like it, and some people aren't really feeling it, or are surprised that they would do a song like this. Doing the unexpected is very much on brand for Babymetal, so while the song is a little out of the box, it's not really a surprise to people who have followed them for a while. This video was filmed at the concerts that took place on the 28th and 29th of January at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Tokyo. The video is from the live performance, but the audio is from the studio recording. The live version they played at the concert was heavier sounding with the guitars more forward in the mix.

Welcome back and great reaction. You can never really know what to expect before hearing a BABYMETAL song, they could take it in any direction (and they often do exactly that). Many of the official videos, like this one, use film from a live performance but with the studio audio dubbed on top, it is just one of those things they do, but yes there are some (mainly but not exclusively the earliest) that are what you would think of as a music video - 'Megitsune' being an excellent example. This is definitely a song that leans a long way towards the pop end of the BABYMETAL sliding scale, further than most I'd say (so it has taken a while and several listens to grow on me). However, this was the studio audio and I have read the live version is ... different (the Kami Band's instrumentals are more prominent than those of the studio recording). We can only wait for the DVD to hear the live audio and see how much it differs of course. 'Monochrome' is my own favourite of the 4 songs released so far in advance of the new album. I feel this album, concept aside, is highlighting Su-metal's vocals more than anything and possibly more than has been the case in the previous albums - they each had maybe three or four songs that really did that, this one so far every song has done it.

If this is not what you expect from Babymetal, it might mean that you haven't delved really deep into their catalogue :) Other songs they released in the past that might be on the lighter side: - Iine (from first album) [MV is good] - Uki Uki Midnight (from first album) [Live from Budokan 2014 is a good one] - From Duk Till Dawn (from second album) [Live at Budokan 2021 there is a good compilation video[ - Da Da Dance (From third album) [official MV is good enough] - Brand New Day (From third album)

The most impactful of the so far released songs from the new album. My very first exposure to this song was at Makuhari Live on the last January 29th in the Super MOSH’SH PIT!! With Kami-Band's crazily spirited performanse, amazing choreo with some Japanese tastes/Butoh texture, and SU-METAL’ｓSirenic Voice matured to possess redoubled lethality as well, the melancholy but intense beautiful melody line gave me goosebumps from the intro. Knockout at first sight/first listen, BABYMETAL’s killer masterpiece in ages for me. 　The official digital release was far less impactful than the live, but I was able to follow the lyrics carefully. My personal impression is that it is not just a simple love song. Rather, it sounds to me, in keeping with the concept of the new album, the song is a crying out of a sad but dearest, can’t-give up-on love in the center of this irredeemable one world heading for ruin. 　 If the Monochrome is a general discussion in dealing with the impending Ragnarok or the ultimate destruction of our world, then the Light and Darkness can be a song depicting one of our particular ordinary but precious and dear everyday lives that may be lost in the imminent doom. 　 I also feel "Something Uneasy" that Flugelhorn Old Man in Japan commented on Robk's reaction to this MV. If this song was intended to make people feel the frustration of losing love/loved ones, only hats off to them.

So this album is THE OTER ONE BABYMETAL that has lived in a different world than the BABYMETAL we know. I can't wait to see which BABYMETAL we will see in April 😁. This time their stage is movable. They are being filmed away from the band's stage. The band was playing with great excitement with all the original members 😁.

I wouldn't mind the new songs being a bit more Metal, but the most important thing to hear from reactors (in my opinion) is that they are surprised by the new songs. Because being different and flexible is one of the traits I don't want BABYMETAL to lose ever.

Yep, it's more EDM-J-pop-rock than usual... but we don't even know what's the usual for BABYMETAL... and I stopped asking me that question. 😁 And this one is way outside my alley musically... but it ended up hitting me emotionally and I really enjoy it now. "She could sing the phonebook" WOW! That's actually my personal opinion. I consider myself an addict to her singing voice. Well, about the expectations... my usual tip regarding BABYMETAL is "always expect the unexpected". Or on Su-metal own words: "Don't think, feel." And that pretty much summarizes it all perfectly. Nice reaction and good to see you back reacting (and enjoying) to Babymetal! That’s the thing I always love about Babymetal, expect the unexpected. Despite this song being one of the tracks from the upcoming concept album “The Other One” it’s another fresh take on some popish, EDM sounds mixed with metal (the guitars are a bit low in the mix in my opinion but I am sure the are more in your face in a live show xd). The whole concept album seems to focus on Su’s amazing vocals, which I love and respect but we’ll see about that once the album is available on March 24th :) You have 3 more songs to check out from the new album that were already released: “Divine Attack - Shingeki”, “Monochrome” (my personal favourite ❤️), and “Metal Kingdom”! 🤘🔥🦊

They always do different thngs. This song is EDM, but all 4 songs they've released so far are very different from each other. You should check them all.

👍 👍 Great to see you back it has been a long time. Not a different path as BabyMetal has over 50 LIVE songs/performances and every song is different. They are fearless exploring many different genres. This performance is from the 2nd night of their 2 consecutive night sold out concerts in Japan last month, it is one of the 4 newest releases from their upcoming album to be released March 24. There will be 10 new songs total.

I love this one! 4 singles have been released, they all sound completely different (imagine that 🤣) but they all have one thing in common! A distinct focus on Su's new voice, which has become AMAZING. When she was young, she already had power and pitch, but now it's become so refined. I LOVE that the new music is giving her voice more room to breathe unlike a lot of the older relentless double drumming and stuff. Hey I love that stuff too don't get me wrong,,but this new mature Babymetal sound? I really really love it

I feel that many of their new songs are giving out doubt at first listening but do grow on people more and more with time.

I listen and watching them since the day one they are formed, but don't really into their new materials because there is no babymetal icon is around anymore, its YUI ❤ BxMxC is an exception because i think that track is really bad ass heavy heavy tunes in instruments, thats surprised my ear a lot and i love that. If you take any suggestions, i wish you do Tales of destinies and all of Black Babymetal tracks (there 4 tracks, YUI and MOA only onthe stage, no Su)

SOME ENGLISH SUBTITLED LYRICS WILL BE PLAINLY OUTSTANDING, SOME BRILLIANCE CAN BE AS ELUSIVE AS A NINJA ON A MISSION OF GOD. ENJOY JAPAN WHILE YOU CAN. MANY SONGS HAVE A HIDDEN MSG THAT THEY EXPECT NORTH KOREA TO OBLITERATE ALL OF JAPAN WITH NUKES. RETALIATION IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE IT WOULD DESTROY THE EARTH. THIS ALBUM IS ABOUT PREPARING FOR THE DEATH OF 100 MILLION PEOPLE IN A SINGLE DAY, IMHO.
