The problem is that there is no guide for a 16" inch barrel .. the data that they are providing most of the time is out of a 4" barrel . Vihtavuori N350 in his famous shooting accuracy! my load is 115 FMJ with N350 5.7 grains .aol 1.140. That fall in the middle between the low and hi recommended power load . Vihtavuori N350 is the slowest in the N300 series of handgun powders. It is ideal for very heavy loadings and top velocities and energies for a broad range of pistol and revolver cartridges. The grain size (1,0 mm length and 0,8 mm diameter) is exactly the same than N320, N330 and N340; it is the porosity of the powder that makes all the difference in burning characteristics. N350 . I don't have a chronograph but would guess it's about 1400 fps.

Where can I buy your new 2019 reloading manual ? Your maximum loads are less than other powders starting loads. What's the deal with that ?

@@Johanvdwalt1 Thanks dude. Vithavouri load data is way undercharged, their max loads are less than Sierras minimum loads. Vithavouri powder is very expensive.

@@ricktaylor3748 Hi Rick, you are absolutely right... I noticed the same. I am using the lee reloading manual and it is way higher than VV's manual. Would you like me to send you a copy of the data from that manual? It is expensive but very good powder. I bought a few cans when they were on special

@@Johanvdwalt1 Vithavouri hasn't changed their load date since 1991. I found the 2019 manual at Midsouth. I appreciate your offer. I reload for 56 different calibers. I use 3N37 in most pistol cartridges, it works well. I think I have 34 lbs. of various VV powder. Take my advice. Stay away from Alliant BE-86 powder. It ruined my RCBS powder dispensers, it melted the plastic powder hoppers, they were totally destroyed. I was fortunate to find two old style RCBS powder dispensers. My friend, Herschel Scotty Morgan had 2 sets --new in box. He's the second longest POW of all time. He spent 7 years 10 months and 24 days in the Hanoi Hilton. You can Google him, if you want. Again, thank you for your offer. Have an awesome day.

@@ricktaylor3748 Hi Rick, thanks for the feedback. Fortunately I dont load with Alliant. I mostly load with VV, Norma MPR and IMR4350. The calibers I load for include 9mm, 6.5x55, 30-06, 243 and 7mm Rem. Perhaps I can tap into your knowledge. I used to load IM4350 for my 30-06 but that is finished and I now want to switch to VVN550. Is that a good powder for caliber and do you have a laod - I will of course do my own load development for my specific rifle.
