I think the M1 Pro is brighter but you’d need to run it on full power, not eco or battery saving mode. You can run Kodi directly from the M1 Pro and that is worth its weight in gold to me. I much prefer the old M1 from a build quality point of view BUT the reason I upgraded was to be free of the AWFUL focus dial on the M1 which you constantly have to tweak and the PRO has a much better focus wheel. I’ll be selling the M1 and keeping the Pro.

Thank you! looks like I’ll keep the old one. All I can see is 700 lm instead of the 300, but can’t imagine that makes that much difference, using it in the night only (not necessarily through choice!). iOS is great, you can just mirror whatever you’ve got on your iPad/phone and it projects onto the wall. You can use the controls on your device. If you are using a hard drive obviously use their interface otherwise the remote won’t work beyond volume, and very elementary stuff, think I much prefer the older device too! Have you looked at any of their more expensive ones? Like the M2 and the M2E I think they’re called? Thanks for your reviews!

Thanks for watching, the M series do take power from a powerbank, 45w minimum. They look great but not as portable and also bit pricey for me lol. Wish android was as useful as ios for these.

Thanks for the review! I have the M1+ for nearly 2 years now. Great projector for the price and size! My question is, Do you connect straightly your S23 with the projector's USB-C, and it works? I mean the phone can straightly send image and sound to projector via USB-C? I am trying to do that with Samsung S10+ but I still cannot do it.

Yeah my S24 ulttra just connects fine by usb c, Id imagine if your S10 has its firmware upto date it should be fine? Sorry I dont have any other phone to try or I'd check it out for you.

Thanks a lot for your review. I do have the M1 Plus and thought about an upgrade for little more light better resolution and a much better Software, that i can use it without an tv stick. But Your review showed me, that the M1 Pro cannot quite keep the promises of the specification. I will stay at the M1 Plus I like your case for the M1 Plus (Original one have no space for the Remote. Both are no good in daylight, as they are battery they need it pretty dark. Thanks for watching.
