Yeah, I remember certain movies you had literally wait a week for to see it show up before you could order. And sometimes one movie got entire 3 day runs, but the channel was worth it for the music and promos alone.

misses viewer's choice wishes DirecTV would bring it back but I know the odds are slim. VC was the best in the 80s/90s

This is what i call old school pay-per-view research! I can't believe that Arachnophobia came out on Pay-Per-View in April of 1991. I wonder when box office hits including Ghost, Dick Tracy and Days of Thunder came on Pay-Per-View. I'm thinking between January and March.

Someone told me his name was Wendell Craig. He did the V/O's for Nickelodeon, Nick @ Nite, and A&E.
