But not April McGilligan, she's remained upbeat and positive, despite enduring four rounds of chemotherapy over 12 years and being given just months to live. She also had to endure heartbreaking tragedy when her son passed away unexpectedly aged 24. The one thing April so desperately wants is to be able to pay for a headstone to finally lay her son to rest before she herself dies. Infuriating to me! Here she has a history of cancer & 5(+) yrs. later, she's dismissed by doctors telling her that her recent stomach pains are likely Fatty Liver. Without scaring patients, doctors need to immediately pursue "worse case" scenarios. Better to err on the side of caution, than dismissing patients, & let them remain in pain progressively moving towards a death sentence. Oh, this makes me angry. Whst a beautiful, strong woman. Most people wouldn't have had her fearlessness to keep fighting. Godspeed to her & her family. Nobody should face death ss a direct result of doctor's laziness or dismissiveness.

Totally agree. The first thing you do as a clinician with anyone with a history of cancer is consider potential spread. Urgent bloods and scan. So upsetting.

I’m confused she’s telling the excruciatingly sad story about her not so social son who doesn’t wanna go out for pizza and she’ll bring him back some and then she says she opened the door to his room and she knew he was gone? Gone where and why I understand he passed away but why? Was he sick or did he commit suicide what happened they left that out.

Same thing just happened to me. I've instantly forgotten what was being advertised and I wouldn't buy it on principle anyway
