Trang reciprocated by placing some bắp chuối, shaved banana's blossoms into her mom's soup. In the Vietnamese culture parents and grown children don't hugs much nor do they like to verbalized their love. It's through subtle acts and kindness that they express their love. You showed your love for Trang by respectfully inviting her mother to partake in the meal. This is the second videos that I've seen in your channel. I can tell that Trang and her family are educated good people.

I'm fairly certain I've had Bun Rieu here in Canada, but they it did not have snails in it. I guess they Westernized it.

I used to think escargot snails was disgusting until my friend introduced it to me and I tried it….now it’s my favorite dish 😅

Big sea snails like conch is just sweet goodness. The tiny river ones are just snappy and have very mild taste, that’s why it’s always cooked in some sorta sauce.

I don't know if it is fashionable in Vietnam, but big glasses with black rims look harsh. Both mother and daughter would benefit from lighter smaller glasses, they are both beautiful ladies.
